Great question! I would definitely criticise senses for being fallible using the colour blind example or how they deceive us when we are poorly. You could also link to people who are deaf but I would avoid mental illness as harder to link. Hope this helps :)

Please could you explain why Christian’s not liking Aristotle’s prime mover is a weakness? I would say just becuase something isn’t liked doesn’t mean it lacks logic/is unconvincing as a counter but what would I say to begin with? Thank you!!

I guess it's not really a weakness just am argument against it, if you wish to say it is similar to the concept of God which is a well argued perspective :)

I'm really pleased my video helped ☺️ easiest way to support Aristotle is with empiricists who have a similar approach to the world e.g Hume whereas critics would be rationalists/a priori e.g Plato, Descartes even Kant and Anselm differ in their approach :)

Hi Alex, I will be doing predication videos at some point but I think either prime move for Aristotle or a compare Plato and Aristotle question. I go into a little more detail of possible questions in the video on past questions and gaps :)

Hi Thankyou so much for these videos honestly I don't know where I would be without them. Just one question to criticises rationalism can you you Jackson Marys room to argue you need empiricism as well?

What a fantastic question, especially since I have never come across Jackson Mary's Room before! After doing some quick research (even though philosophically it is quite complex so I probably have not done it justice) I would say that it does suppport empiricism to an extent, just like you can know everything about a pinapple but don't knwonit fully until you have tasted it...I.e empiricism is needed. However the argument seems to go further into more emotivism and how it is a feeling beyond physicality so not just empiricism. Hope this makes sense...very interesting!! :)
