I must add that this video was made only 3 months after me picking up a Native American Flute... Looking back at how I have grown over the past year and 4 months of playing has really touched me and inspired me to keep on letting whats on the inside to express itself. Thanks... 12/12/09 (Merry Christmas) oh btw...

In truth, there is little in America without our Native America. There isn't a victory or a defeat and there isn't shame of loss or shame of gain. Instead we are a whole people and can never forget to thank our fathers and mothers no matter the tools they used or the food they ate. There is no now for use without the world that came before.

WHEN U HEAR THIS MUSIC. IT MAKES U FEEL SO SAD FOR THE NATURE, AND THE BEAUTIFUL BLUE AND CLEAR SKY THAT WE ONCE HAD..A WORLD OF CLEAN AIR, FOOD, AND RESPECT FOR OTHERS ARE HARMONY THAT IS SO PERFECT..I FEEL TEARS WHEN I HEAR THIS, AN OLD AND ANCIENT FREIND CALLED NATURE CRYING OUT IN PAIN AND ANGUISH FOR THE ILLS THAT WE HAVE CAUSED HER..I PRAY THAT THE OLD ONES CAN SOMEHOW FORGIVE WHAT U HAVE DONE IN OUR FOOLISH AND CARELESS WAYS..

we are all one! we are all connected! speaking of hate and race serves no purpose. Thank you Johnathan for sharing such a beautiful song with us all! I love you and EVERYONE on this planet. Even those who would spread hate. I have learned that all negative emotions stem from fear. So it is best to love especially those who try to spread hate with their fears. This is truly inspiring! Thanks again

I'm like Maggie. Im in no way biologically native, but i deeply believe my heart is native. it is my dream to become part of a tribe, and to learn all i can from them. I am intensely ashamed of the modern day american and their ignorance, and I often tell people i want to go into natural medicine instead of herbalism, because of how many people assume i might have connections to a pot dealer. I have two flutes of my own and am highly connected to the earth, preferring her health over my own race

I agree we shouldn't argue and insult, but in our culture, music isn't only for enjoyment, but to tell a story, or give a message... Which we should then discuss. Music is not just a way to spend time. This should be respected.

When i listen to that flute and tones and i imagine how they lived in peace with nature. We, the western culture should better have died. But it wen't another way and a precious art of living was destroyed by ignorance :( Sad but true. "Only when the last tree has been cut. Only when the last river has been poisened. Only whe the last fish has been caught. Only then you will find out that money can not been eaten." They lived in peace and harmony.

tacowardip This is very beautiful, I have been to Indian reservations, my Aunt lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I have traveled by train to get there, I have seen women selling their homemade treasures at the train stations on their blankets. I really appreciate this, it takes me back, I am from another descent, but I am really connected with Native American Indians, I look Native American Indian, there is nothing to be sorry for, this is your soul speaking. May God's Great Spirit Bless You!

When we are hurt by others our first response is to lash out, to hate and hurt them back. However in this new age, this new world we must unite as one planet, one human race. Along with all our relations within All That Is, we are the same. If you feel anger and resentment it will be part of your life. Is that what you want? If you feel love and forgiveness that will be part of your life. You tell me which you want to live with, love or hate?

A whisper of a cry, Softly spoken to the soul, Thunder rolls on by, Quietly fills in heart's role. Be it ever gently with purpose, Giving to my thoughts today, Shouldering the pain and hurt, Through lightening's bright bold rays. -Janet Campbell 2014

Sorry for the comment, I don't sleep much & this video helps me fall asleep when I can sleep. I mean no disrespect to the owner. I love this video, so when I really needed it the most, some stupid commercial came on & ruined the relation mode I was going for. My comment was uncalled-for. I get angry very easy since I've been only getting 2 to 3 hours of sleep at night for the past 3 months.

I am not a native american and im extreamly pale and ive always have a deep connection to the ways of the Native Americans especially the Lakota Sioux . I've been to South Dakota 3 times and ive always wondered what it might have been like for them. I have also always loved Buffalo jerky and Ive just always appreciated the old ways especially the wise wisdom of the Natives.

The Old Testament says "an eye for an eye". In the New Testament Jesus says we are to forgive our brother(s) seventy times seven" It in not easy of course. Each of us is challenged in our own personal journeys as well as culturally to forgive those who have hurt us whether they are still here or in the hereafter. I truly understand your feelings. I work on forgiveness on a daily basis. Perhaps it is the journey of a lifetime for most of us. Many blessings to you Dear One. Peace & prayers
