Narrator Christopher Plummer explores the end of the Ice Age and the death of seventy percent of the world's largest land animals - including the legendary woolly mammoth
The Columbian mammoth is an extinct species of mammoth that inhabited the Americas as far north as the Northern United States and as far south as Costa Rica during the Pleistocene epoch. It was one of the last in a line of mammoth species, beginning with Mammuthus subplanifrons in the early Pliocene.
From "Titans of the Ice Age 3D": Titans of the Ice Age transports viewers to the beautiful and otherworldly frozen landscapes of North America, Europe and Asia ten thousand years before modern civilization. Dazzling computer-generated imagery brings this mysterious era to life-from saber-toothed cats and giant sloths to the iconic mammoths, giants both feared and hunted by prehistoric humans. The magic of the giant screen reveals the harsh and beautiful kingdom of these titans: an ancient world of ice, the dawn of our ancestors, a time when humans fought for survival alongside majestic woolly beasts.

Wooly mammoths actually lived in warmer climates. They didn't experience the cold until around 4,,100-4,300 years ago during the last ice age. They would have been on the ark and died off within the first 1,000 years after the flood. This is common knowledge. Other than evidence of water over the entire earth was there any clues of the flood? Oldest trees are about 4,300 years old. The oldest mummy 4,000 to 4,300 years old in Egypt. The giant termite city in Brazil is estimated to be 4,000 years old. The oldest written history 4,000 years old in China. Plus many tombs, skeletons, and artifacts around dated about 4,000 years old are among the oldest things ever discovered. Really, the only things older are the dinosaurs and aquatic fossils. Nobody really knows the dates for them.

But surely mammoths didn't die off, they just evolved, in to modern day elephants a sub descendant, the same as man from that era is not extinct just evolved and adapted.
