You can put the Flysheet up 1st on this tent by putting the groundsheet up and the poles 1st. Then put the Flysheet on and put the inner inside last of all mate...

Going to Australia this year, nights can go down to 12c, but daytime is up to 30c. The ventilation looks good, but is it good enough??

I'm 6ft 2 looking to buy the cloud peak 2 or the Star River. I prefer the cloud peak 2 but I'm just worried my feet and head will hit the inner and wet my sleeping bag where as I've read the star river is great for tall people. Given your 6ft 3 did you have that issue with cloud peak 2... guessing not with the star river given its length / vertical walls

Not a fan of that pole system.. if one pole breaks I would imagine that's it, the tent is worthless. At least with conventional poles, you can probably buy a replacement if a pole breaks. I do fancy the Cloud Peak 2 though ..with three more conventional poles
