Glad to know the black tank is still installed on the travel trailer even with the composting toilet options. Glad Oliver didn't cheap out with this option. This has got to be the most serious travel trailer company I'm aware of in terms of durability and longevity for a travel trailer...practically no competition... I've owned two Air Streams... garbage... with too many seams (overlapping aluminum panels that leak... outer shell), wood (floors will warp if not manufactured properly... common), etc to fail in very limited amount of time. Plus, you must go through 3rd parties for replacements parts on an Airstream under warranty... they wouldn't send me parts directly in terms of warranty claim documented at the time of sale). Oliver will send parts directly to customers... if you're debating an Airstream or Oliver, go with the Oliver if it suits your needs. My only issue is Oliver Trailers don't offer larger 30' + trailers.... if they did, I wouldn't hesitate to spend the money on a $100k+ unit for full time living... the competition, mostly junk... you too Air Stream with your wooden floors that warp over time and poor customer service... I say this because I owned two Air Streams and both had fit and Finnish issues which is par for the course (my door didn't close all the way (1/2"), very obvious and should have been noticed...I bought out of excitement (only model in my area as well) and name brand thinking I would be taken care of)... the problem was they would only go through my dealer for warranty claims and the dealer wasn't supportive. When I reached out to Air Stream (they got back with me after leaving poor review and calling in complaints), still no resolution because I had to go through an awful dealer for parts which never happened under warranty (everything document in sales contract and didn't want to stress over with the legal system). The Dealer was RV One in Orlando if you're curious to know. More than helpful before buying, dump you and move on after sale. When I expressed an interest in trading... were so helpful but didn't trust them to bother again.

How much power does the fan require and does it need to be on all the time.

$80,000 and I have to cover the toilet with a plastic bag from Walmart or Home Depot? For that money I would expect a specially designed, contoured, ripstop/polypropylene, monogrammed cover, that, for an optional fee, a self-portrait could be embossed into!

And why is this a beneficial option?

I’ve heard boondockers say that it will allow them to stay off grid longer before having to go somewhere to empty black tank
