I closed the window, pulled the curtain down, turned on the cold air conditioner, and opened this video. The rain made me remember my childhood days, when it rained all day, my sister and I were in our old house, studying or playing, waiting for my parents to return after a day of work; then we had dinner together, watched TV, and then went to sleep. There was no internet, no facebook, no smartphone ... just the sound of rain like that, with trees, with insects, slightly chilly weather and feeling of peace.

I used to have a recurring dream of a place I'm hoping to find in a video similar to other stream videos. But it was like this: Warm spring/summer air. Tall green mountain nearby alongside, but beyond the gravel valley floor we were on. Blue sky. Butterflies. Warmest gentle stream in the valley, flowing between the green mountains. Shiny gem-like pebbles/rocks the gentle water flowed over. It was peaceful. Adults in white "nightgowns" were tending to the rocks as if caretakers. The children also in white were playing peacefully in the warm, clear waters. (I would sit in the water or stand and splash). It was immensely calm, pure happiness. We had a purpose. A friend tells me that was a place "between lives" that I knew and remembered in my super young 3 to 6yr old dreams. I don't know about that, but I'm hoping to find something like it. The butterflies and people and shiny pebbles obviously are not doable. But a nature scene like that would be nice!

By the way, the stream was exactly the size as the one in this video. But the water was slow and gentle, making the water crisp and clear and not so loud. A gentle trickle sound. And those sections of rocks are perfect locations for where the sparkly pebbles were (many submerged). The mountains were the same green. No trees or dense nearby foliage. Blond/brown gravel along the stream bank. Sun and warm. I wish I could dream of that place again. 😴😌
