Pay attention to the lax rules regarding stealth and the exceptionally forgiving nature of it. The bears have Seal Team level of sight and hear better then a seismic detector, but you can *walk behind a tree* to lose vision and if you're in bushes then you're good to go. Combat is barely a mechanic once you get a full grip around how Naughty Bear controls; and really you'll often wound bears to slow them down and to scare others. All of the mechanics play into each other. Combat is to scare, scare is to fight, and fighting is done by *whatever you can make work.* Make sure your engine is *robust* in that case though.

I would have loved this game at like 6-12 years old. As an adult though the gameplay just isn't interesting and advanced enough for me to enjoy it....although the overall idea/theme is still amusing. I wish I would've had the selection of games that exists now back when I was a kid....the only good game back then was GTA Vice City. I think I was 8 when I got that one....the PS2 did come out a few years after though but I didn't get one until like a year or two after it came out and the price went down.
