I mean, atleast he got to experience her heavenly walls before becoming the door, a lot of the people who die young end up dying a virgin so he died and went out being a giga chad in the end, makoto also has two canonical love interests being Elizabeth and Aigis so he technically has two wives, especially when he finally inevitably gets out of the seal he will be able to reunite with Elizabeth and maybe aigis if her robotic body is still in working condition. Yu narukami however is a sigma male because he is going his own way but is not a Giga chad because he refused Rise’s advances and missed his shot to end up with rise.

@@Holy_Crusader Well the devs have made a point to never make any romance in their game canon, though the stuff outside of the games that are sort of not canon have gone other routes like for instance the manga for P4 has gone with Rise being canon, P5 anime heavily implies that there is a harem while the P5 Striker game which is canon has stated that the MC is single but the girls are still after him. According to the devs any romance the player picks is "canon" but at the same time it's been shown that forever single is the canon ending for all persona MC's which sort of makes sense since at least since P3 the MC all leaves for some reason. Like P3 MC is made immortal and chained up in a different dimension so it's kinda hard for him to have gf but in P4-5 both MC's are just there for about a year before they are moving back home which is supossedly far far away. So to not have a long distance relationship they sort of all break up by the end of the game anyway with the love interest though they usually do the deed before they go their seperate way.
