3 is pure comedy, with practically no consequences. There are aspects to 5's which are gutpunchy, but its still got a humorous tone and least you get what you deserve. 4, meanwhile, is the emotional equivalent of being dragged belly down through a field of cheese graters. The girls do everything they can to gaslight themselves and make excuses for Yu. There is no funny, no joke to be had here. Just people who know you betrayed them trying to rationalize how the person they trusted and respected the most in all the world has hurt them in the worst way.

There's only two games that made me feel awful for romancing all the characters. Persona 4, which rubbed my nose in how awful that was... and Judgment, where your middle aged protag (with a canonical love interest) is mostly dating girls in their late teens with major trust issues and not a single one of them felt right and wooing all four just made you feel like the scummiest man on Earth... especially the folinal girl who was a recurring character in the game.
