I really respect and admire you for your lovely personality. But I got disappointed by your comments regarding that cake. Publicly degrading something that someone brought for you is not acceptable. Even if you didn't mean bad for them, still a gift is a gift. You could just simply not say anything about that cake instead of saying that you discarded it. It is said "when you have nothing nice to say just don't say anything." Even if you didn't like the cake still at least the person spent his money and time to get that cake for you to honour you. Always see the person's intention behind giving instead of judging what they give you. May Allah bless you.
