We call them bouncy castles, in the Uk. And my fella hired one for a whole weekend, (from Friday to. Monday)for my 50th Birthday, 2 years ago. It was fantastic. I invited friends and their kids, on the Sunday, and we had great fun. I'd said to my fella, I'd always wanted to play on one, all for myself, without kids spoiling the fun 😁, and he surprised me on my birthday. You're never to old to have fun! Fantastic cards. And I love your enthusiasm and chatter. Oh, and get a scanNcut. I love mine!

I love seeing all the little things that you made to go with these cards. It must be the organiser in me (looks around at the mess *cough*) but I love videos on card sets, and assembly type card making, and changing things up with the same supplies. I thought I needed a scan and cut too.. then I decided I needed to work out how to use my Silver Bullet and stop being a wuss.. thankfully I just seem to have crested the steep learning curve.. Now I need to learn how to print and cut and I should have everything I need. I am trying to reign in my need to hormonally spend.. but there are so many lovely enablers here lol :)

Lindsay great card!! I've never been crazy about nautical themes, but uh! I sure like it now! LOL! I wish I had your talent!! oh! I just had to have the silhouette cameo, pestered my poor husband, got it, and HATE it!! I'm way to dumb to use it. Now I'm hearing about this scan'n cut! Guess I won't be getting one of those ;-) if all you have to do is literally scan and cut without having to mess with group, ungroup, connect path, uugghh!! heck yeah!! wish I'd known about it sooner!! Also, I really like the watercolor crayons, but I priced something called neocolor, I think? and wow!! expensive!! holy cow!! I sure like how they look! have fun in the bounce around!! I love those things!! thanks for the tutorial!! I wish you a great day!! :-)

Lindsay you NEED a scan'n'cut. Try asking brother to supply you with one in exchange for loads of tutorials. I do love mine and it's the best cutting machine I've invested in. I only really use it for cutting out stamped images ( so every stamp ( well almost all) I have now has a matching "die". I don't use it to its full potential ( maybe I would if you did some tutorials 😜) but for that feature alone it was well worth the investment. Anthony :)

One of my best memories is of being in a bounce house with my older brother when we were really young and laughing so hard I just slid down into the side crevice paralyzed with laughter. I couldn’t even get up to leave when our turn was over. My Grampa had to kick his shoes off and try to walk in with adult dignity to carry me out. I remember seeing his dress sock clad feet gingerly stepping toward me and laughing harder! Funny Grampa trivia: he always called socks, stockings! No matter if you were a boy, girl, man or woman! 🤣🤣🤣

Love the card, I never thought to use my watercolor crayons for it so thanks for that tip. I have a thought. If using watercolor paper and folding it to card size means you are not using the back side for watercoloring so why not just use the front and then stick it to a card base? Would that not be more economical ? What do you think? I love your advise and of course your work so am just wondering if my question is valid or not? TFS
@thefrugalcrafter9 жыл бұрын
+Anita Holmes definatly if you are using expensive paper. This stuff is cheap, 30 sheets for $5.88 and I got 3 cards per sheet so it is only about 12 cents a card I think, not bad and the weight is really nice. If I mess up a watercolor card then I work on the back and mount it on a cardstock card. Look at what you have for supplies and do what is best for you, either way is fine:)

Lindsay, love this card but did you mean to stamp the background upside down on the first card you did? Lol your so funny!!! As for the scan n cut, well I'm sorry I am in the same boat as you I want but don't need it. But it's so cool, and it looks like it will do such awesome stuff......... I think I'm gonna check eBay and try to get myself one from there. But I'm like you, I've got all the machines. And can't bare to part with any of them. Lol thanks for the tips I love your videos!! Maybe you'll get lucks and the company will send you one to do a review on it and let you keep it. Good luck.!!!

lol Yea that would be nice of them to send you one. A friend of mine has one but I havent had a chance to go watch her use it yet. But I have been tempted myself to go buy one. My Cricut Explore isnt a year old yet so I cant justify buying yet another machine. I have the Cricut create, Cricut Expression, Cricut Explore, And 2 years ago I won a Ecraft Machine. So Ive got more than my share. But they are addictive, just like rubber stamps!!!!! lol
