Yep, and I think making Lost Treasure cost 3 doesn't sound so bad tbh. I'm fine with deep getting more support. I also think they should change Rippers Bay text to toss instead of obliterate, mainly because it'll also help boosting deep with each attack.

@@shai310 that change to ripper’s bay actually ruins the card (which is impressive considering it’s a bad card)… ripper’s bay obliterates the top card to give yourself a better chance at getting lurk, tossing always discards from the bottom of the deck not the top so if ripper’s bay tossed itd become useless for lurk.

Hey Mogwai, was watching you and Panda cast EU Masters day 6 yesterday. I watched the series where Russia brought 7 meme decks, and one in particular caught my eyes which was Akshan Katarina. I’ve already had some ideas of such a deck ever since I watched the recent Progress Day video, in which, at one point, RubinZoo was commenting on how Katarina is actually very close to being an toxic champion. I believe the goal of that deck was to flip the Warlord’s Hoard to reduce Katarina mana cost (not necessarily to 0) and Rally multiple times in one turn with The Absolver or Overwhelm units such as Battering Ram. Some key combo cards could be Promising Future, Ruined Reckoner or even Taliyah. Anyway it would be interesting to see your take on that particular concept.

Mogwai, I'm low Plat NA and I've been running an undying noxus deck. I run 3 gluttony and use it on cursed keeper and grenadier to find undying, and use it on undying to summon crocolith. It means I can only run 1 3-drop and 1 4-drop, but if I draw well I can pump out a 7 7 crocolith on turn 3. I also run Sion because he levels really quickly in this deck (undying dies every turn). I really hope you revisit undying! Viego gave us some decent self kill cards and gluttony can make finding undying really consistent. I'd love to see how you approach undying with all the new cards!

Tbh I see no reason to run Darius now that Sion exists. I think you can add him as a 1 off for either Pirate aggro or Poppy/Ziggs but even then I think he is just too slow and inefficient.

Not a champ/follower/spell but an idea. I lost to pnz/frejljod deck without champs. Basically using the foundry landmark and the new draw cards from pnz to deck out the enemy, using freezes to stall the game and using cards to copy new cards into your deck. I tried to build it myself but I suck at deck building. Would love to see your take on the idea

I would love to see a deck arround Dusk and Dawn (the ionian slow spell that creates 2 ephemeral copies of a unit). I made a versión with unyielding Spirit (the demacian "i cannot die" spell) cause ephemeral units wont die. Also with the new Frejlor wolf, cause each ephemeral copy spawn a non ephemeral wolf, so you get 4 units with one spell.

Play zilean jinx most fun I’ve had in the game bar none. I made a deck that’s kinda similar to your old casino deck. It’s hard to pilate and can be prone to insane blow outs on either side, but really fun and I have a positive win rate against draven sion. You level up either champion as quickly as possible, sometimes both and then your win condition is basically burn. Zilean copying burn spells and hex crystals is insane. Jinx does jinx things. My list is still a bit unrefined I’m wondering what you would do with the archetype.

I’ve been playing deep constantly since it became a thing and at this point, I only run one maokai. Honestly he doesn’t last nearly long enough to make 3 copies worth it. There have been multiple games where my maokai didn’t use his toss ability once. He needs at least 2 more hp I think. Or have him toss and summon on cast.

Hey Mogwai, this isn't a particularly spicy deck but I would really like to see you play Caitlyn/Draven. I really want to play it but apparently I just don't get it, because I keep losing on the ladder, much more than with other meta decks, and I don't see what I'm doing wrong. No need for him to answer that, i can do it for him. As long as prank, freeze and Poppy Bandle city and Draven/Sion are as prominent as they are in this meta, these kind of decks will not work well against the meta. As well as now your oponent will have way too much information about your hand, which limits your possibilites of counterplay and maximizes his own.

@@Felix-hk7kn "reviving" deep is a strong thing to say :) he still get stomped by 2 decks, and its just too slow as a deck, no other downsides, while Di/Noc (btw one of my alltime fav decks) it wasnt like really good as a deck even when it was good and had a place in the meta, but now outside of flavour you have almost no other incentive to play it since you have other decks that kinda do the same but better. Also the deck has retained the weakness it always had (or to say it better, they never got around to giving the deck one) and thats a win condition. Diana and Noc are not the "wincon" type of champions, like Liss, Zoey, Teemo, Karma etc... but they function both as more of a support roleplaying as damage dealer (Diana works better with Kindred while Nocturne is not that bad with Demacia in a rally deck as support to Jarvan or alongside Viego, Lucian etc).These are just some off the top of my head. But Di and Noc, at this point in time, dont work together well, im sorry, i so wish they would, maybe even as much as you if not even more, but i tried, people smarter than me have tried, it doesnt make sense atm. I hope that Di Noc Kindred Aphelios Mao Braum Vi and Shivana get support/reworks/buffs, they dont all need the same, Mao Braum and Vi just need proper suport, nightfall needs a wincon along with a buff to both champions, Kindred and Aphelios are weird, they eboth need to be reworked or in Aphelios case, revert the nerfs like they did with MF even tho in this case there were more nerfs while Shivana needs either a buff or better support but needs also to get a wincon type of thing, for example if she gets to 10 power she does an anivia style aoe or somethung...

For example if you are on shadow iles and you open a champion capsule, you pray to every single God that you don't get a nocturne or a kindred, the same applies to Diana and maokai. Also you forgot to mention how weak malphite, Katarina, quinn, Viktor and ekko are. I belive they really need a buff /rework.

@@matthewpateman9393 true, but he hasn't in awhile. I just think it might go a little underappreciated between the dragons, new kill spells, and using fighting spells on them. It's just a lot of value you can pull out of these guys, and in a meta fairly based around cards with low stats and powerful effects. Big chonky dragons and undying is very effective.

If you're looking for some overlooked followers to try and deck build with may I then propose Mechanized Mimic, I have had some fun with it in an all in Impact deck as it gets one stack of Impact from each unit that has Impact and those unit usually also have other good keywords like Tough, Quick attack or Spell Shield.

It's sad that's she's just a poor man's Lux. She's within a better region that can use spells and removal, but hardly any way other than to beat the enemy except being a stat stick. Lux has the lux(ury) that she can hit the face and she's in a defensive region. Plus, her level up isn't annoyingly difficult to get off. She's just slow, which just goes to show how unreliable Kindred are.

If you want a good kindred deck you can try kindred-swain control. It is a really powerfull deck, also featured by snnuy if you need inspiration. Another is kindred-gp. It's a deck that i'm sure has been tried before and when i tried it worked well.

If you're looking for inspiration, I've been really enjoying an Aphelios/Sivir deck I've been playing recently. Lifesteal on a levelled Sivir is straight up game-winning sometimes.

You should try a treasure deck without deep stuff. I remember trying to make one a few months ago and i couldnt make it work because im a bad deck builder xd But you might be able to make a decent one i think.

Hey! I know I am not a long time subber but I heard this idea from Bricky and want to see what you can do with it. Hand mill, lots of pranks, prey the weak, aloof. Basically you want to make your opponent have no value for his cards.
