I’m coming back to say that Bering builds some very beautiful and 100% useful boats. I like the fact that Alexi had previously had years of experience running boats in very rough seas; knowing what it takes to make a tough reliable boat. I like Alexi’s character as well. I agree. Their emphasis is safety and engineering.....but the decor and furniture is sleek as well. Not overly extravagant, but very stylish. I much prefer the modern minimalist look, than frills everywhere.

Of all the hundreds of luxury, explorer and leisure craft I have seen not only on this channel, but many others, this has to be my favourite of them all, the Bering 77. Brilliant design, lovely lines, everything over engineered, not too big and not too small. Yup, one sexy looking vessel. Wow Bering builds a great boat! This is how I would build one. Not just the detail, but the heavy build quality, as Alexi put it, of 'commercial boat DNA'. What impresses me about Alexi is how directly involved he apparently is with Bering's boat building process, despite being at the top of his company. Makes me like him even more. I could never afford something like this (I only worked on boats), but if I could, a Bering would be my first choice for a Motor Yacht. You guys mentioned that "New Boat Smell"... Oh I miss that! They should make that a fragrance in a spray bottle I can use in my car 😁

47:05 what you seem to have missed, that little compartment is also a lock, allowing you to get in and out of the interior when the weather outside is really bad, e.g. you're in the artic and there's a bad storm outside, 80 kt wind, -40C, spray/snow/hail flying, you can get out without all that stuff getting into the boat.

I used to manage the fuel dock in San Diego. And we had 3, two inch fuel lines that put out over One gallon of fuel a second. Hearing about problematic abandoned grp boats with 25 yrs life beng dumped in UK harbours and rivers from British Waterways Board. I'm glad bering boats have a longer life, that will outlive any average yacht. Love this boat thanks for tour Victoria and Rico. You made brilliant choice for your own for charter a Bering. 👍👍

The original videos of the 77 were my introduction to Bering. I always thought a Nordhavn was the yacht for me but these videos changed my mind. I sure hope you guys can find someone to let you review the new 82 model. I hear it is pretty spectacular.

Kudos to Bering on space planning on this 77' platform. Mega stowage and great access to systems and as a marine engineer VERY happy not to see the ME buried low under sound boxes below the deck plate level as in previous Bering launches. Tons of innovation here at a very good price point. Folks should be lining up to sign contracts with this co.

@@Navy1977 M.E.= main Engines, in other previous Bering builds the vessels have the M.E.'s @ the lowest point / CG down on the girders with hush boxes / sound shields on them so U really can't do a proper underway ER check without uncovering them.

overall you are my favorite channel for this kind of stuff... a few other great channels as well but I like yours due to your overall view of the industry as well as you live on boats... i like your series on cheaper live aboards. What would be cool to see from your channel would be seeing some serious renovations... ie taking a 70s fisher boat or military boat and making it a modern explorer.. I've seen some really inspiring boats on other channels. Some really old hurting boats turned into amazing live aboards or even charters for much less than buying new...

If i had unlimited funds this is the only boat i would own. I love this boat. Having watched all of your videos Bering seems to be a cut above in all aspects . The few customization options i would have are. change shower across of sauna to a wet head. Add a helm on fly bridge. 1/2 glass enclosed fly bridge. a small hot tub aft of sauna. I just can't wait to see a walk thru of your guy's boat . luv ya 🙂

Greetings from Finland, you have a wonderful boat there, but you should have included Finnish in the design of the sauna, in Finland we call that a cold toe sauna. The sauna is made from top to bottom, from the ceiling to the top bench is 1050mm, the lower bench is 350mm from it and the rest is filled with a bench. The total height in the sauna is 2050-2100mm.

I’ve seen a lot of boat reviews and I’ve watched the build on their Bearing. If I had the money this is what I’d buy. Strong, durable and great layout. With a couple of rod holders and an air compressor to fill my dive tanks forget about buying multiple homes just go there within reason of course and enjoy the ocean. I don’t think bad weather would bother me much on those boats or ship, whatever.
