Alot of people said it has become a pussy fest within recent years (training becoming easier and drill sergeants not being allowed to grill you cause of stupid laws) Pros of marines 1. It's a brotherhood cult (a marine recruiter's words, not mine) 2. Elite 3. I have heard a ton of good things about it 4. It's the marines Cons of marines 1. No rangers 2. I think Nava the beast is awesome. I was I'm the Army 10 years ago and since then I have gotten way too comfortable with sivi life and lost a lot of drive in my day to day life. When I stumbled on navas channel a long time ago I must say that that young man has inspired me in ways that people couldn't explain. I have since been focusing on my future, my health and I have lost a lot of weight. He helped me by giving me that initial push that I was lacking to get back to the me, the real me. I truly owe Nava the beast so much and will be forever greatful for it. I mean yes I've been doing to foot work but this young man has a gift, I still to this day still watch every video he has. I'm a huge Nava supporter on everything he does with his life. I am so thankful for him. To the people that wants to bring shade to his channel/Life should really watch his first 15-20 videos with a clear mind. I promise, you'll feel that way I do about this young ambitious guy. Like really watch at least 10-20 videos before you think anyway about him. Again I guarantee you WILL see this man for what he's doing for all of us. Young kids, teens, adults and older people as well. He also has such a positive outlook on life on life's terms. He puts it into your head on how to deal with life... The good & the bad. He's not perfect but he keeps pushing & best of all, He never gives up. I have never heard him say "I can't, I quit or I give up" he always pushes through. And thats the message he bringing to everyone if you give him the chance with a clear mind you will also get that same message that myself and most of all his subs receive as well. So the thing I'm trying to say, all & all he's a great guy and with 100 percent good intentions. That's all I got to say.. thanks for taking the time to read this long comment. And don't forget to check out our boy Nava the beast ! Have a blessed day and week. Peace!

Lol I think any reservists shouldn't be talking about what the real active duty life is like. Just like the guy in the video that was wrong if him. But at the same time I don't think reservists should looked down upon either, I mean I'm sure they have their own reasons for joining the reserves but that doesn't mean they are not doing anything with their lives. There are so many great reservists out there who are doing civilians jobs while being in the reserves. For examples Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Patricio Zamarripa. He joined the reserves and then became a cop in Dallas. In 2016 he was killed in action while providing security to black lives matter protest. I'm sure he carried a lot of his training from bootcamp and A school and his navy Pride and honor with him as he served in Dallas pd while also serving in the Navy reserves. I also know of people who dropped their college, their one time job opportunity in civilians world and went on orders to help out the active duty sailors
@W0rld_Toor6 жыл бұрын
JTsuits I'm not bashing on you or anyone else but you taught me a lot of things that have been helping me through my navy career and my own life in general. One of them was to never take shit from someone else for no reason. So in that sense I think it's also my duty to not let people look down on the reservists because they are meant to be always ready to support the active duty and the Navy mission. In one of the cadence we do say "Stand up, hook up, shuffle to the door Jump right out and count to four It my main don't open wide I've gotta reserve by my side" All due respect JT a lot of us look up to you so if you downgrade reservists, I think that will influence others to do so as well. Instead of downgrading reservists we should look at who they are. They are sailors who are ready for support while balancing their own civilian lives at literally any given minute. V/R MA3 Toor

Hey JT ( or anyone else that can answer this ) in the navy, does selecting a ship or station whatever you go to ( dont judge me my dad's a coastie so I'm only used to coast guard stuff like stations ) work like the coast guard where your at a place for an amount of time, then make a list from like 1-25 of where you would like to go then the navy will most likely choose one of those ships or locations if they're open?

Although I find his videos to be cringy and full "boot" up the ass, I have to defend Nava when it comes to his business ventures. Our military opens many doors to a better life for many of its members, from benefits such as paid tuition to learning a useful trade. If it didn't, most individuals wouldn't even consider enlisting. There's no difference in wanting to serve in order to gain educational benefits and taking advantage of the great networking to promote a business. At the end of the day everyone's trying to survive and we have to use what we got. The pride is there, but the military sure has been a great tool for many of us.

Sauce Squad go talk to a army recruiter near you
@DJTheMetalheadMercenary6 жыл бұрын
Well Sauce, first you have to talk to a recruiter about possible contract availability for a commissioned position, then you'd go (if you get it) to combined OSUT and OCS at Fort Benning, GA (my old stompin' grounds). USUALLY, you need a college degree (at least a 2 year) to even be considered for officer candidacy-- ROTC doesn't get you much, if you did 4 years of ROTC you could join enlisted as a PFC, doesn't give you an automatic shoe in though. Christopher Chaos' youtube page is Army- information specific if you want more details, apart from doing more research and talking with a recruiter.

Comparing an Admin to a Tier 1 Raider...
@andressalazar75896 жыл бұрын
@@TJ_Kirkland. well that happens to be the reality and the life of who I mentioned, but rather I am comparing the point of using the military to aid in one's own personal ventures. Which is definitely a point that was seen in the video. They're both essentially doin the exact same thing with their own respective books, but i'm not getting tight over that, just puttin my 2 cents. Have a good one

I don't care if he is clout chasing or whatever, do what you go to do to make it man. But he claims he wants only intellectuals to follow him. Disclaimer: I did not go to an Ivy League university. I am however an active-duty Navy veteran who has a BA from one the University of California campuses. I am currently in grad school and the way he talks just makes me chuckle. I feel like he took Freshman Sociology, and is out here ranting and raving about the evils of Nava wanting to make some money and apparently Nava became the only reason people join the military? He is out here angry that Nava shows what life is like on Active Duty when not in combat, you know, 98% of the time? Active Duty isn't all jumping out of planes and being salty all the time. It is possible that people do enjoy their time on AD. I don't watch either of their channels enough to know what they are about though. Just an observer finding this drama in 2020 as the world is about to end.
