Navaira Family Press Conference

The family of Tejano music legend Emilio Navaira, who passed away on Monday, spoke to the media in San Antonio, Texas on Wednesday, May 18, 2016.

EMILIO NAVAIRA, El Rey del Rodeo! His music, songs and lyrics were implanted in my heart with knowing that one day I would share the feeling I had when I heard his music with my special someone. The night I met my husband, we were at an EMILIO Show in Austin, Texas. I remember hearing Sensaciones, Naciste Para Mi, Corazoncito Tirano, the passion in the voice when he sang these songs make the song come to LIFE! This is why, forever in our hearts EMILIO will always stay alive with every song we hear, every memory we have of him and every encounter with him at every show!! GOD BLESS YOU EMILIO and YOUR FAMILY ❤️

My Condolences & prayers to the family. Words can not express the sorrow my heart felt when I heard of Emilio's passing. Just goes to prove that we should hug one another and Love one another as if it were your very last day to see one another....Cause often times tomorrow may never come for some of us. I am so sadden by his passing and I feel for the family as well. I will keep his family in my prayers and pray for his Soul to go to the Light so that he does not stay earth bound and lost. If everyone would always pray for those who have passed as well this too will help them pass over to the other side to make sure that their Soul is not here stuck roaming the earth lost. Often times we all need to pray for our Loved ones who have passed and always keep praying for their Souls to help them go to the light and see to it that they make it to that other side. We just really never know what's on that other side my my intuition just leads me to feel this and it incites me to share with people that there is a unknown on the other side and it's called a Spirit World. Yes, the body is at Rest as God says int he bible....But, he (God) also says that in the day of our passing that our Soul comes out of us and it does keep on living. So, that there is proof to us that the Soul is still alive some where out there. So, praying for the Soul to be at peace I am sure and praying that it makes it to the light so that is not lost in Darkness I am sure will help. God Bless his family May he give them the guidance and comfort that they need to help carry them on in Life. Love you Emilio & thank you so very much for all your wonderful Music...You made Beautiful Music...Loved & never will be forgotten. :'(
