Native American people have a long, rich history in the Southwest. I grew up in Arizona in the 70s & 80s. I remember seeing them displaying their beautiful & intricately designed silver & turquoise jewelry for sale at the rest stops along the highways. It would always be laid out on lovely handwoven blankets, with kind people tending to their wares. I wish I'd taken more time to appreciate the incredible workmanship and skill on display back then. Except in the expensive boutiques in Scottsdale or online, sadly you just don't see it anymore.

I love your videos, no talking you let your actions speak for themself in this video. Its a beautiful buckle, I love Navajo art. My great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee very sadly I was very young when she passed. I only have a few pictures of her and I together but I think she would be proud of me to know just how much knowledge I have aquired of my anchesters English and Native American. I practice silversmithing every day whether I have a comission or not, even if I'm not making an item for sale I will pick out something that I am terrible at and do it over and over again. But thank you for you videos.
