Tucked up against the mountains in the Bitterroot Valley region of Montana, Jessie Lewis hammers away at pieces of reclaimed metal and works her magic with vibrant stones. A self-taught metalsmith and owner of Ruby and Revolver, Lewis makes one-of-a-kind wearable art that often sells out within seconds of going live on her website. In a fast-paced world, she slows down just enough to create the type of jewelry that requires nothing less than every ounce of your heart and soul. Hey Jessie, thank you for uploading this! I'm been a jeweler for more than 35 years now, with less to more engagement in the business,till we manage several years ago, to set a shop along with my wife, but in the last times things went tough, and since the pandemic arrives I start to disbelieve in all the dreams that we have. Struggle and strive ! That is my problem, I think that I am scared. Sometimes I get anxious and in a hurry to finish something. Ruby thank you for inspiring, I have done different things for making Christmas presents for family flavored Olive Oils and Vinigars to some other things not as wonderful as the Olivia and vinegar, I have recently decided to make a physical move and go down my own creative path with many ideas that I right now don't have the room and would like to Stay but the situation isn't working for me any longer, plus want to move closer to family still far enough were they will have choose to visit an hour away or so. I'm also a silver Smith I am into martial arts, rock music, and Indian types of jewellery so I encorporate these three aspects in my pieces. Jesse Lewis, I have a good friend, just turned 85 a few days ago. He has been doing what you are doing for 50 + years. He found his niche in 1979 on a Pecos River canoe trip through the Tran-Pecos region of Texas, when he was caught up in a flood, and woke up the next morning in a limestone cave. The walls of the cave spoke to him. Bill Worrell is now world famous, with a gallery in Santa Fe, and in Sedona, AZ. He is/was my dad's best friend since birth, from a tiny west Texas town. Beautiful work and inspirational....BUT please, for you and your family, use safety goggles, put your hair back, Use light welding goggles to protect your eyes with oxy acetylene torch (even with a micro torch), wear a mask of you need to when buffing, and I don't think you have ventilation with your torch (even a box fan in your window works). If you got the tools, your safety is part of having them. You are beautiful...and it will help you stay that way.
