Navarasa - A Virtual Dance Festival

#IHC Originals: Conceptualized, curated, and conducted by renowned dance critic and culture expert Prof. Ashish Mohan Khokar. Presenting works of nine established dancer-choreographers of different mainstream forms like Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Mohiniattam, Odissi, Manipuri, Kuchipudi, Kathakali, Chhau and Contemporary. The festival will feature performances, yet unseen. In collaboration with attenDance, India's only yearbook on dance. New episode every weekend.
Episode 1: 'Kathak ki Khanak' Classic storytelling through a traditional Kathak repertoire performed by the NADAM ensemble, Bangalore.
TEAM NADAM:
Murali Mohan Kalvakalva and Nandini K. Mehta are the co-founders of Bangalore-based NADAM, a performing and teaching institution. No stranger to accolades from audiences and encomiums from the press, Murali is known for his fast and precise pirouettes and intricate footwork. Nandini is trained in both Kathak and Bharatanatyam. She is elegance personified and has presented at numerous prestigious festivals in India and abroad.
Together with their professional company dancers they will present some of their most celebrated Kathak choreographies that have won International acclaim and accolades.
