What a fantastic video! Thanks for sharing (and thanks to Sue for passing on the link). We shall be with them in a few weeks time and cannot wait. It's 7 am in a cold and wet England and you've just put a huge smile on my face before I go to work. Thanks again... Dave and Jane

Great capture of Navarre Beach on video! We've been coming to Navarre since 1989 but now we have lived here since December 2010--love it! Great video of the nature of Navarre Beach!

Beautiful video. Loved the dolphins, rays, birds, and shells! It's been 2 years since we have been down. Would love to sink my toes in the sand.

My family and I come here every year. We love it. Its a nice place to go if you dont want to deal large crowds of people. And Pensacola is just down the road.
@Beach_Master12 жыл бұрын
Yep, it's all public. The farther west you go, the thinner the crowds become. We've stayed at Sundunes condo on the beach many times and I highly recommend it. Nothing fancy or posh, but very clean & comfortable. It's a 9-story building at 7979 Gulf Blvd (at walkover #8) and it's flanked by single family houses and small duplexes so there are never any crowds there. Feels like your own private beach almost. Sand Dollar condos is another nice place. It's a little further west than Sundunes even.

In 2011 i was using a Contour+ POV 1080p camera in a waterproof housing. It attached to the side of my diving mask. In 2012 I started using a Liquid Image diving mask with integrated 1080p camera and I like it a lot better.

I drive from Panama City to gulf shores and I had to stop by here. If anyone is going soon please take the senic route. You won't be dissapointed. Very few people on the beach an perfect just to relax all day.

Very cool video. We go to summerwind resorts every year, and never have driven down that far. Is it all public beach? The people who we rent from are booked already. Any other suggestions on where to stay in Navarre?

Great video! I m going to Pensacola next month and I can´t decide if better to stay on a hotel at Deluna Drive or Navarre beach. Since you seem to know the place, Do you have any advise to share? Thanks

No sand flea problems. There are ferocious biting horseflies in the fall when the winds shift from the north but that's it.

I'm going there in June. Staying in a condo on the beach. Is it pretty nice?

Sugar white sand, turquoise water and not overcrowded...It's paradise! If you're a beach person and love just relaxing then Navarre Beach is the place. If you're looking for go-carts, amusement parks and a partying night-life then Destin, Pensacola or Panama City would be more up your alley.

Which is within a 30mile radius at best. I visited FWB/Destin during early 70's, making it permanent ten yrs l8tr only to retire from Naval Service and back to the FL. Panhandle for more than another decade once again. ;--))

Hi what kind of camera are you using under water?
@Bkeytx10 жыл бұрын
Hey Jeff, Were you using a GoPro with head strap mounting?.... Cant wait till July 14th when I head to Navarre and Destine to do some underwater video
@Beach_Master10 жыл бұрын
Not a GoPro. I was using a diving mask with a built-in HD camera. It's the Liquid Image XSC 325 and you can see a review of it here: terrywhite.com/review-liquid-image-scuba-mask-hd/ I've had it for a few years now and it is awesome. Have fun in July!

Was the water cold? I'm going in October and want to know if it's cold so I can get in
@Beach_Master8 жыл бұрын
The water is still plenty warm thru most of October. By late October it's just beginning to get a little chilly. October, in my opinion, is the best month to visit Navarre Beach. The air temp is very comfortable, there's no crowd and the water is warm and clear.
