Badly needed Inter City or Jan Shatabdi day train between Bangalore and Trichy both ways morning and afternoon. Also an over night train between Bangalore and Tanjavur is a must. There are no trains between Bangalore and Salem between 7am and 10am.

SWR should make a study whether it is really useful and necessary to run till Erode and proceed further. Because it is at Erode around 1am. Also there are many faster trains between SBC and ED. And diverting via Salem-Namakkal-Karur saves 1) Timing by 1 hour 2) SBC departure time can be changed to 8 pm instead of 7 pm (too early for a night train) 3) Distance traveled will be reduced by 40 km 4) One Loco change and reversal can be avoided. Please consider SR and IR. Trains like 12684 (SBC-Ernakulam), 16527(Yesvantpur-Kannur), 16526( SBC- Kanniyakumari), 16236( Tuticorin Exp), 11013 (Coimbatore Exp) can be considered for SBC to ED.
