This is now my favorite episode, as someone who went through a divorce of a 10 year relationship as well I really related. Cathy you seem like such a caring mother and thoughtful person, I'm glad you felt ok sharing your story. I remember struggling to make sense of everything as quick as possible, which wasn't helpful. I like that you can recognize it takes time, I want to say it's not linear but know you are on the right path especially on the journey back to you. I wish you all the best and shout out to Phil's writing! Seriously though thank you to the ABG crew you always handle conversations lovingly whether it's with guests or each other. I was kinda disappointed in this video. Was really looking forward to hearing her personal experience and insight but she answered all the questions so vaguely and seemed closed off. Feels like every question was deflected. The hosts did a wonderful job though - they actually drove the conversation and shared more. I get that it’s hard and she needs time to process, but maybe don’t go on a podcast where they ask questions on this specific topic? No hate on Cathy, been a follower of hers for a long time. Just a comment.

This is sad. You put your kid at risk of all sorts of problems by getting divorced all because you 2 were too selfish and prideful to hash things out. Marriage is a commitment not something you can toss aside like some old clothes. What's the point of wedding vows if you're not gonna keep them. I don't feel sorry for Cathy at all, but I do feel sorry for her daughter Isla. Marriage in the modern context is a joke now.
