The first rule of sculpting is : everything looks like shit until it doesn't.

Even though beauty is in the eye of the beholder, sometimes you're blind to it yourself! It's great to see the artistic struggle shown for once! Awesome video and a golden message!

I've learned not to be a perfectionist, that mistakes happen but that if you know how to learn from your mistakes and keep practicing even 2 hours a day (that's the time I give myself after work), you'll get better every time, little by little. It was like night and day when I compared my first project with my recent one. Would I ever be as good as Follygon? Maybe no or maybe one day.

You should do a video on how to use your brushes properly for someone who downloads them. Also, this video hit home for me! More times than not, I'm always afraid to fail so I don't even attempt to do certain things while sculpting. I've learned to not give up and just keep pushing through the sculpt, even if it doesn't look like what I want it to right away. Patience and persistence are key 🙂

He usually recommends to just play around with them on a sphere to get the feel for how they work. His Mech Cut brush is my fav as its really helpful for getting those clean edges, bit better than the Pinch brush
