Saying No to Christmas cards! Everyone is asking for our new address (we moved in April) so I'm feeling the pressure to reciprocate the influx of cards coming. When I imagine the mass amounts of waste associated with the practice it is a no-brainer to me. Then I will be stuck with the cards which have pictures of people I love that I will have to eventually dispose of either by shredding or burning because I won't just put those in the trash with their faces staring out of a garbage bag for the world to see. Then I will have to stick them in the shredder or fire as my heart tears apart like I am doing it to them. So what started as a kind gesture has now become an Empath's nightmare! I am opting out!!

I been an empath since I was kid and it’s something way more than just feeling others feelings , it’s like reading someone soul everything else your correct I numb with smoking weed it helps soothe my energy

Ironically...a big portion of my adult life, I said 'no' to everything practically that felt uncomfortable to me...to the point of me hardly doing anything outside of my home(comfort zone). Being in my mid 40's...I am now working on trying to say yes more...because sometimes...uncomfortable things help one to grow. By the way...being a mother of two adult children still at home as well as two teenage sons....the bathroom is definitely my friend...lol.

Thank you Asia! Another great video you shared. I love how you go into so much detail in your videos when you speak about spiritual practices. I especially appreciate any video on how to cope with/embrace being an empath, especially one as thoughtful as this. The advent calendar of affirmations is such a great idea, and I know it would be a great and simple grounding tool for me throughout my day to come back to the intention.

Empaths are science fiction. All you are refering to is people that are very empathetic. New Age Movement needs common sense. Sorry if that comes off as rude, but it needs to be said.
