With the t+ ticket you can use the metro, bus, tram and also the RER but only within Paris not in the suburbs and it's valid 90 minutes. Like your videos; short, helpful and sweet!!

I don’t LIVE in France but have visited a few times recently and bought a Navigo “Decouverte” pass several years ago and just “fill it up” when I go back. You can buy day, week, or month passes and load them on the card, and for each, you decide what zones you want. If you want just inside the central city, you can get those cheaper. If you want the full zones 1-5, those cost more. So yeah, the passes cover most modes of transportation (including the Montmartre “funicular”) including the Metro, RER, and busses, but they are NOT necessarily good everywhere.

The reason why RERs often have delays is NOT the maintenance but the fact that RER share tracks with regular trains. Metros are only used for metros, so they can run mostly smoothly. Any problem on the national railways may impact directly or indirectly the RER, making it more difficult to manage.

Yes normally at the underground subway there is an information point! I don't think you can buy the cards directly from the machines but more individual tickets and packs of 10.

I never understood the RER codes at the front, tho... JUJU, BOBA etc. sounds just like silly random letters to me. Picking the right branch line turns out quite confusing.

Still far easier and faster than saying : « train stopping at nation then no stop until nogent, then all station until Boissy ». Mission codes are for daily users.

Im from Germany so id say Metro = UBahn RER = SBahn Transilien = Regional Bahn/Express Tram = Straßenbahn/ Stadtbahn Bus = Bus In terms of variety in Transport i dont think any City globally can beat Paris in a 1v1. Especially not after the 2030 Plans are complete
