Living far inland all my adult life, I never dreamed I'd get to experience the thrill/excitement of entering new ports and enjoying sunsets at sea/in port again... The last time I was in Shanghai for work it was unseasonably cold...below freezing the first 2 days (I didn't pack for that...haha), and around 50-60F for the remainder of my stay. Good luck on your last voyage of this contract...I bet you're excited to get home!

Do you remember wondering how fishing boats go so far? I told you how it works and I fish in Alaska bearing sea! The other day I was in 25 foot seas and 70 knot winds. Boat is 74 feet long 30 feet wide 10 feet draft. I have video I wish you could see it from my wheel house! (BRIDGE). Stay cool brother. Stay safe!

When I was 10/11 I had a huge fear of the ocean and I hated the beach and especially taking the ferry, (we took it often as we lived in the UK.)
