Another great video, Karanvir. Those 360 degree views are very interesting and beautiful too. So that was a 3 day at Anker delay which must have thrown off the schedule of the ship. With a new eta for the next port, does the next port need to be notified, and if so, does the company do that? Take care!❤

It's easy to understand why many sailors of old slept in hammocks, I recall back in the 1960s we were anchored in a bay a few days while a storm passed off shore, one had to sleep spread eagle on his back to stay in his rack... I greatly enjoy seeing and locating these lesser known ports, it was always special when going inland a bit and seeing the views along a river from a higher vantage point than in a small boat... Thanks for all your effort... And greeting to all from Colorado.

Hi Karan, I have been watching your videos for years now. I enjoy them very much. I am retired U.S. Air Force. When I was active duty I use to fly C-141B Starlifters. I use to go to Singapore and then on to Diego Garcia. One time going from Diego Garcia to Clarke AFB in the Philippines we were flying at 36,000 feet and ran in to bad weather over the Malacan Straits. The tops of the clouds were 70,000 feet. Very miserable flight.

Great video. It shows this time that life on board is not so easy. Little sleep, rolling ship and the high concentration on challenges like here through the narrow fairway. The shots with the 360-degree camera are terrific. At first they take a little getting used to, but then they are all the more ingenious. Take care and stay safe and healty.💖💙🚢⚓🙏👋

I was never bothered by heavy seas. Kind of liked them actually. Never slept better than when I was on board a destroyer. The pitching and rolling made me fall asleep in about a minute! No joke. I already told you a while back about my experience on a destroyer in a typhoon. THAT was extreme. Having to walk on a bulkhead is not for the faint of heart! I know you are a very busy guy, but if you get a minute you should look up an account of USS Dewey and the Typhoon of December 1944 in the Philippine Sea, aka "Halsey's Typhoon". USS Dewey took almost a 90 degree roll...and lived to tell about it!!! The skipper of the ship related that he grabbed a pipe on the overhead as the ship rolled and hung on to it for dear life. His feet almost touched the water which was right below him! Talk about terrifying! Imagine if you experienced this if you had been below decks when that happened! I chuckled at all the stuff flying around your cabin, mostly cause it's happened to me too! Of course, on a container ship you don't think about what we called in the US Navy "missile hazards". Those are unsecured items that you realize are unsecured when you hit heavy seas. On our submarines, when pulling out to sea the boat will do what are called "angles and dangles". That is, pitch and roll under the water on purpose to expose any "missile hazards". Great fun! Thanks for the great content, Karan. I really enjoy your vlogs.
