My 1st Saturn return shook my world up completely. I found out exactly who my parents were and the limitations my family placed on me that I allowed myself to believe. Met my life partner 12 yrs older than me went against all my beliefs on marriage and babies and had my 1st child. It was LIFE changing but also extremely scary. I'll be 35 next week and looking back any advice I can give is to completely LET GO. And allow. Understand you will not be able to control your situation. I died suddenly from a million year old fungus, was revived and in the hospital 10 days. My Harry and lungs had stopped. I married, divorced, remarried, changed careers because I got fired from a job I loved ($65/hour job!) , moved 3 times, had my first kid. Every few months my life looked completely different. Don't beat yourself up. I'm in my first saturn return in the 7th house. Mt return degree is 10° Pisces. I always knew it would be a hard time from when I was young and first learnt about what a saturn return meant, and living that experience has definitely shown that saturn expects commitment when it comes to facing our obstacles and weak spots. But try to remember that saturn goes retrograde for half a year. Things can delay, our motivation to stick with the challenges can wane, nothing feels like it gets done in the real world because all the energy is turned inwards for retrospection. Be patient during this time, for this inner work is still critical for us to move forward with renewed commitment to our goals and tasks when he picks up his momentum after turning direct. I feel you, I'm hurting too, but we'll heal stronger for it ❤

I just learned that I had completed my 2nd Saturn return during a channeling session. I had no idea what it was so I did some research. It was a challenging and an awakening three years. My world as I knew it was turned upside down. My mother transitioned during that time, I had financial hardships, my mother transitioned, broke up with my ex, who was emotionally unavailable and was cheating for several years unknown to me. I felt like I was taking two steps forward and three steps backward. During that time, I also dug into my prayer and meditation sessions. I felt that I was shedding. A container of myself that was no longer working for me. My first Saturn return. I divorced my husband, and learned afterwards that he was diagnosed as a schizophrenic. I plan to learn more about astrology and the impact it has on your life, especially since we just experienced a solar eclipse with a new moon in Aries and mercury is also retrograde. 🙏🏽

Love this! My first Saturn return - 0 degrees in the my 9th house, ruled by Virgo aligned with my first semester of law school, literally the same week classes started. It all happened in a very short period of time. It was always something I talked about doing and then finally decided to sit for the LSAT at age 28, applied to law schools and then started at age 29. I turned 30 towards the end of my first semester of law school.

This was so so true! I am a couple of years away from my Saturn opposition in route to my second Saturn return. I didn't truly feel it until my Saturn square with Saturn in Capricorn to my Saturn in Libra. My natal Saturn is conjunct my Jupiter in Libra in my 12th house and in trine to my Aquarius Moon. Ever since my square it has been a radical kick in the pants to accept what I have done, have not done, created, not created, and flat out running away from responsibilities and relationships in my 20s. However, I have had the most profound growth over the past 5 years and found Tarot and astrology with my Saturn return. If I am not on my game Saturn will flatout show up to remind me, "what the bleep are you doing? You are now 42, let's move it!"

I’m so glad you made this video, as I have heard so much doom and gloom about the dreaded Saturn returns! I had mine a little over a decade ago, and mine was not any of that, strangely. I have Saturn in Scorpio in my 4th house and while I did pick up my life and move, it was a time of adventure for me! I have been scratching my head wondering why I didn’t face much of what is typically associated with the first Saturn return, but then again I have no aspects to Saturn on my chart EXCEPT a conjunction to Pluto! So if anything, I felt a profound, deep sense of transformation of home and becoming an independent adult in this world. I also got engaged during this time too. My life hasn’t been easy since then, but that is what I recall of my first go with my Saturn return!

I wonder why my app I use- called this house “crafty”. And I have had to be crafty in how I provide for myself. Being an entrepreneur. I have seemed to connect the dots that money is the same as “love” or relationship. I don’t have the money so therefore I don’t have the love. Saturn Return for me the first time did the opposite.. things RUSHED IN FAST.. I got married suddenly, had a sudden illness that I DIED FROM and had to be removed sand hospitalized for, I got divorced suddenly, I got remarried suddenly, changed careers and that happened suddenly, got pregnant and moved 3 times!! i just finished my saturn return, aquarius 2nd house. having capricorn rising it was huge for me.. my entire life changed dramatically because i was living so recklessly in my early 20s. I was just really lost! my dad died when i was 13, my saturn opposition was exact in my 8th house the day he passed. it was hard for me to take life seriously after that, but since my saturn return i feel like a new person. i put a lot more effort into creating a sense of value for myself now. it was a horribly painful transformation to get here but even with just a year's perspective since it ended i understand why it had to happen that way. my saturn also makes an exactly trine my jupiter and exactly square my pluto. then a looser trine to my sun. all at 23 degrees of their respective sign, sun at 20.. its impact is largely felt and ive come to really love saturn, i embrace what it symbolizes with much compassion.

This is NOT a contemplative thing. This is NOT a comparative thing. This is NOT a "I need to grow up now" thing. This is NOT a "reality check" thing. Saturn Return is tons of things showing up that you NEVER FREAKING SAW COMING. DYING, MARRYING, DIVORCING, CHANGING CAREERS, GOING BACK TO SCHOOL, MOVING. EVERY FREAKING LIFE CHANGE POSSIBLE. When you are in your 50's, you literally don't give a flying f*ck what others are doing. You're literally beyond that competitive spirit at that age. Saturn Return is something that FULLY CHANGES EVERYTHING. People are forced into your life. Changes happen almost against your will. You never wanted babies? Didn't believe in commitment? Thought you'd never marry? Oh well, now you're married and pregnant! Wanted to live in your neighborhood forever? Because you love your friends? Oh well, evicted! Or forced to move! Or all the people you wanted to stay near move. Happy you have long term friends? Oh well! Only the strongest survive in your life!! Many friends fall off the face of the Earth suddenly. My Saturn is in my 8th house, which while not the easiest house it's in Libra, making my Saturn exalted. In a conjunction with Mercury & Jupiter and trine my Moon. Saturn's ruler Venus is also in her home sign of Libra so better placed to assist Saturn. While I have had tough periods and setbacks in life I have always been pretty good at powering through any situation. Even before I learnt astrology and discovered all these placements I always described myself as a pretty lucky person.

My first Saturn return was in 1996-97 (natal Saturn at 6 degree Aries/10th house, squaring my chart ruler Moon in Capricorn), long before I knew anything about astrology. I was married, had a house and two children in my early 20's. At the Saturn return I was juggling to (besides taking care of my children and family) commute about 210 miles several times a week to finish my bachelor degree. I got my degree two months after the third/last exact Saturn hit. My second Saturn return is due in April 2026, only one exact conjunction this time. Simultaneously transiting North node is exactly conjunct my Pisces MC (and S. Node IC). Feels like big endings and beginnings may happen.

what’s disturbing, challenging and scary about Saturn symbolic concepts or “returns” is the length of the cycle: It would be more reasonable if addressed monthly, weekly, hourly, giving us the opportunity to navigate and make a practice dealing with it. It’s like just two chances, maybe three if you have good genes, to navigate the deepest structures that you imagine are real, and critical to you personally, in terms of how this world works. It’s ultimately quite subjective in how one chooses Saturn’s significance.

My saturn @ 29 degree of capricorn 12th/1st house, it feels like I'm getting 2 returns for the pains of one! Two years feel like 100! this second one has lasted 3-4 years, with a dark night of the soul, ego death, losing my twin flame, barely surviving financially and having to face a collapsing health in a very short time. And my hair has been falling non stop ! But I have felt pushed to work on my business, and accepting a lot of things I fought and resisted because that's the only way I can get some peace from the Fates. I don't know my time of birth, so I don't know for sure what house Saturn is on my chart, but I just feel like Saturn is in my second house because I've struggled with money so far in my life. I had one lucky break in 2020, where I was able to save a lot, but I was working like a dog😢 only to lose it all the following year during my Saturn return.

It sounds like you probably had other difficult transits happening at the same time as your Saturn return during your 2nd one, especially if you didn’t have such a difficult time with your first. Please don’t worry too much about the third Saturn return, it’s unlikely you’ll have that same perfect storm activating your chart in such a harsh way.

I have my Saturn in Pisces 18° 1st house. My 9th house Scorpio Venus trines Saturn. And then my 10th house Sag Jupiter squares Saturn. And then a sextile to Neptune in Capricorn in my 11th. I had the same experience, Saturn return was in Scorpio, challenging yes but nothing compared to Saturn conjunct my Sag Sun a few years later. That was brutal 😳

You might have started yours. Depending on where you were born within Saturn's retrograde cycle, it's possible to have your Saturn return a bit earlier than the average. Check your birth chart to see if your natal Saturn is in Pisces.

If your born in the evening fucked basically and your Saturn return is gonna be the worst & your doomed basically. This video is modern mixed with a little bit of traditional. I use what's most accurate, so I won't be returning to modern, Western astrology alone. Sorry to disappoint! Even though I've acknowledged in this video that difficult experiences do happen in our lives, especially around the Saturn return for some, I've also provided a lot of insight into how to work with the energy to create a more positive experience. If that doesn't work for you, that's completely ok! There are other astrologers on KZbin who use a modern, Western approach and many of them are very good at what they do! :)
