Navras with lyrics

Juno Reactor - Navras I always wondered what that chorus sings and now when I had learnt the elements of sanskrit, I was finally able to identify it (with a little help of the internet of course:)). There remain still parts that I did not manage to discern, although I am quite sure they are not sanskrit (indeed, they may be no real language at all). The translation is mostly taken from a the source I mention at the end of the clip. However, the final chorus does not sing really the text of KaThaka, in fact the first verse is omitted which changes the meaning significantly, so I provided my own translation. I also translated the prayer to Vishnu as I could not find any reliable source.

Understanding the concept is very important here. The entirety of everything is the Brahman/Paramatman(an infinite ocean in all possible directions), then within that infinite ocean is a balloon full of water. The balloon's is the veil, the Maya/Matrix and the water inside the balloon is the Atman/Self. Goal of the Atman is to break the balloon membrane and mix with the infinite ocean of Brahman and become one and the same. This process of addition of Atman and Paramatman is known as yoga(literal meaning addition). When the mind understands this captivity, in order to attain Emancipation/Nirvana, the mind chants this mantra so that it does not forget the goal and can always be in the pursuit. Lyrics: Asatoma sadgamaya, tamasoma jotirgamaya, mrityurma amritagamaya.. From ignorance lead me to knowledge, from darkness lead me to the light, from death lead me to immortality. These words are essentially intended for the mind, by the mind so that the mind can assist in the process of Atman+Paramatman merger. This is exactly the reason why this music was used in the movie Matrix. You either live with the Maya or you break free to attain moksha.

Actually, the word Hinduism is used by westerners for religion of people here and this term is foreign to this land, even term religion makes no sense in dharma which means duty . Vedas are far older compared to buddha or buddhism .And Buddhism and Dharma (Hinduism) are 2 opposite things. Buddhists although believe in some vedic concepts like karma, reincarnation, dharma etc but they reject vedas and upnishads .And this lyrics are from upnishad, so how can you claim it to be Buddhist? Buddhists don't believe in the self or concept of soul (aatman) ,Buddhists believe in no-self .They say no soul exists. @@raphaelcarvalhobezerra6913 The oldest vedas found are far older than tripitaka .Instead, tripitika has taken vedic and upnishad concepts .Tripitaka was written during 1st century BC and vedas are atleast 1000 year older than tripitaka. Do some research, you will find vedas to be far older .Everything here came from vedas and upnishads .From the concept of dharma, to concept of maya or atman everything came from vedas only .Prove me wrong, if you don't agree .

@@pritsingh9766 ok, basically the Upanishads we have today are late hindu vedas, not the one who came with the indo-europeans. Those late vedas were made after the islamic attack to India, which means they came after Gautama Buddha, and shortly after Shariputra wrote Buddha's speachs. The first hindu vedic texts came from the indo-europeans and tecnically were monotheistic texts and the politheistic hinduism we have today was born after the domination of India by the Arabs, and then buddhist destroyed the islamic people who were there, and then left India to the growing new hinduism.

Then you realize within the essence of aniruddha, pradyumna, conscious omnipotence (aishvarya) he shines with the power of millions of fires and holds the puspa bana arrows. In pradyumnas essence resides in the bindu lord sankarshana, the endless absolute selfreflection, the allknowing state of brahman. And sankarsana is jnanasvarupa, the knower of all, allembracing, harihara, paramatma and jiva, bhava and kutasta - same thing of one coin called purusha. Much like Latin can be translated loosely or sentence structure altered to fit one’s own language, phrases often added, approximation is sought not exactness. This, ‘in vino veritas’ is in wine truth becomes in wine, there is truth. All languages have this problem of equivalence must be chosen over literal translation. There are phrases that have no English word in common, or the quality of the word is lost. Thus, arises the Japanese term (maybe used by others before them) - it is lost in translation

The subtitled part is clearly sanskrit, no need to do research on that, I have already done mine. The only parts in question are 1:45 - 2:13 (repeated 7:09 - 7:22) and 3:18 - 3:37. The one that begins 2:45 (and 7:59) is just repeated "om shanti" which is a call to peace (which I did not bother to subtitle). So there is nothing to identify, if you recognised the bulgarian (which is your native tongue according to your profile). So we all await what the text in question means:)
