At $350 or $500 for this adapter, you could put a whole new radio in, and buy the adapter and face kit , since you have to take it out anyway which would include everything including upgrading your camera?

The only problem is that you need way more parts than just the radio to maintain all the stuff in the car working properly if you would change out, factory radio. Units a lot of different parts like a kit to maintain a factory radio speakers amplifiers, you will need a kit to maintain factory steering wheel controls, you will need a dash kit, you will need a kit to maintain factory back up camera, it would easily cost you thousands of dollars plus none of it is really easy to do is DIY. NavTool kit is 100% designed for DIY
