Also, there are times in the day when you do what is called readers. That is where all the recruits stand in front of the racks or sit in formation and read the book aloud to each other. The RDC's also teach classes on what you will be tested on.

The best way to learn military time or the 24 hours is just add to anything in the pm above 12pm . For instance 1pm will be 1300, 2pm will be 1400, 10pm will be 2200

You are allowed to bring personal belongings to your A and C school. At least I was at the school I attended. When you get to your duty station, you can most definitely have your personal belongings. If you want to take leave and go home, you have to make sure that you have enough leave days built up and submit a chit to your chain of command for approval to take leave.

to everyone and anyone who wants to join the navy....don't get any neck, face,gang or weird tattoos. don't do drugs, or drink excessively, and if under age don't drink at all...don't get tickets or in trouble with the law....exercise alot, dnt be a fatty...try to not get hurt....and score well on the asvab...simple.

Talk to your recruiter and get the chain of command. It will all be the same except for your ship's officer, ship's xo, and your three RDC's.

How soon do they give you the chain of command? b/c I want to pass that test to rank up but I'm wondering if I'm gonna have enough time to learn the Chain of Command, thats the only thing that I don't know yet(besides planes and ships)

What do you have to get on the academic tests to pass? What happens if you were to fail an academic test? Also is it multiple choice? Fill in the Blank? Combo?

Hey, when your in the Navy and you are stationed somwhere, are you allowed to bring your Flat screen, xbox 360 and other stuff from home once you get outta C school or whatever its called and are living in a barracks or whatever? and are you allowed to visit home when u get out of your C school for christmas and stuff?

How strict is the navy with tattoos? If its a whole leg sleeve? It wont show when wearing uniform so im thinking it wont be too bad? Esp if I score high on the asvab right?

was the asvab test hard and do you have any tips for that test?

The ASVAB is hard because it tries every sector of your brain. Its an appitude test that gives you a grade in sections. Each grade represents your knowledge and skill in each section topic. example: mechanical knowlege, or math. It tells the military which job topics you are most effective in. The ASVAB is NOT hard. It is a lot of common sense, but definitely brush up on the material and study

No problem! A lot of the material in the study guide books available for purchase aren't even on the actual exam. However, it's just a nice feeling to be prepared. I was shocked by how easy it was, and I was a pretty average student in school.
