According to KREM-TV, a pilot from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island used their aircraft to draw what appeared to be male genitalia in the sky. Matt Yurus reports.

I personally asked the squadron about it and they responded with humor at the cost of being watched over by higher officials. As if the maintenance department had anything to do with the incident, the entire squadron was under watch by the base and their CAG... As of now, it is just history.

The National Post has a funny article with the transcript of the pilots' uh....I mean artists' in-flight conversation. I was exceedingly amused to read that having thought better of their hijinks, the pilots actually tried to "erase" or scribble out the drawing by flying thru it and depositing new vapor trails!! But it apparently didn't work and the image remained longer than they'd expected it to... and of course some uppity karen got offended by it and just had to take a pic and report it. There's also a Navy Times article whose google link headline is "The Navy's Probe Into Sky Peni$" which is funny just in that title alone!
