I can 100% confirm Zach's beret shaping manual is accurate. The first time I was told what to do with my flat fuzzy beret I thought I was being fucked with.

Can confirm as well, it was fucking awful. through basic and ait i ended up getting like 5 berets due to getting to thin, ripping, and shaving a hole through 1 lol.

You find the beret story weird, just wait until you get to Baloney Bob. Nothing is weird until you either meet or hear about a guy like that. Honestly though, it does seem like an army thing to find the most inane, useless thing to do and force it on the enlisted for shits and giggles.

"The military doesn't pay for your clothes, you do." That is completely insane. We spend more money on our military than the next nine countries combined, the last DoD audit was missing billions of dollars and everybody just wrote it off like it was the fifty cents of change the waitress forgot to give you, and yet our military is so destitute that it can't afford to give soldiers uniforms. Man am I glad family and friends talked me out of enlisting.

I can actully real late in Army JROTC it's took me and a few of my friends a few hours but luckly My retired SGT told us he will deal with the mold I think that is what it is called it has been a few years but on Unifom inspections in class B's You really star to sweat.
