Its probably for the best you go to Japan as a civilian anyway, I've heard that the locals tend not to be too fond of servicemen. And given what I know of squaddies, I can't POSSIBLY imagine what garnered that reputation...

Yeah, I would be a little upset too if I had a bunch of drunk foreigners were running over kids in my country. We got locked down on base a couple times cause of that.

I'd watch longer reactions from you 👍

Thanks. At a certain point it just becomes me watching something without commentary.

If you want something else I can recommend "Adeptus Ridiculous". Their podcasts may be too long but they have playlist "parodies" which is basically animated fragments of podcasts out of context about 1-3 minutes long each. I think you would have good laugh

Alright, I'll check it out. Seems like it might be up my alley. Thanks.

You have probably been recommended it, but have you ever seen any Sseth videos?
@CinesterCharlie Жыл бұрын
I have once, but he has pretty long videos. If you have one in mind I'll see what I can do.
@Dexas_ Жыл бұрын
@CinesterCharlie most of them are around 15-20min, but some are longer ya. I might suggest his deeprock or highfleet videos to start with.

So I will ask, as someone joining the Navy (as a "I'm not doing anything with my life, maybe I'll make SOMETHING of myself with this" thing), you _can_ request a job change? I was basically railroaded into the rate I signed my contract for (CTM) when what I really wanted (and what my skill set is really geared for), CTN, was apparently all full up. I read online that a rate change during your contract term is a pain in the ass, but is it possible to get or at least request a change in rate when it comes time to reenlist? I was basically going to use the Navy as a pretty thing to put on resumes and get a bunch of IT certs for civilian life after, but being funneled into a glorified maintenance rate while I wanted and already have skills for networking and cyber security (basically anything computer-based) put a damper on my prospects, as far as I can tell.

You can request a rate change after a certain amount of time in your rate. I'm not sure what the time frame is, but I would look up more info on it or ask your recruiter.

I recommend videos from internet historian and his alternative channel incognito mode It has long videos but it would definitely give you a boost in the youtube algorithm and they are really funny ps whatever you do don't skip the commercials of the sponsors 1 these are really funny 2 the people who will come to see you react to the internet historian videos usually react negatively when you skip the internet historian commercials

I like IH. Haven't seen any of his stuff for a while. I should take a look.

@@CinesterCharlie many of their main channel video's are a bit longer, but he does have a second channel that usually does shorter more short podcast type content, a bit like mikeburnfire's campfire stories actually.

If you want shorter content i recommend warrior tier it's warhammer 40k related you might enjoy those
@CinesterCharlie Жыл бұрын
Maybe, but I know absolutely nothing about Warhammer.

hm you might want to check out thedooo? he is a very good guitar player who takes random song requests with a good sense of humor and the worst video game player one ever saw. so it is better to go by videos with guitars in their thumbnails. but be warned they always have one unusually long ad in there, not to be repulsed by it if you run into that wall. (maybe you suggest some of your interests next time you ask for requests^^)
@CinesterCharlie Жыл бұрын
Oh yeah, I've seen a ton of thedooo videos. I haven't checked him out in a while, so maybe I'll check out some newer ones.
