I forget the PD, but their EOD shoulder badge said "EOD - If you see me running, try to keep up!". Goes well with the Schlock Mercenary rules, "A Sargeant at speed outranks a Lt. at a standstill", and "An EOD at speed outranks EVERYBODY".

We did convoys in Afghanistan at night too. We always prayed for something to happen and we only used our weapons systems once when we caught a couple Taliban placing a IED in the road. They were surprised to see us pull up, we were surprised to see them planting the bomb, then the carnival music started.
