You may already know Miniko. She was called Miyune with a different avatar. She went on hiatus for a while and came back as Miniko this year. She's done a lot streams with Neuro and Vedal as both characters. I'm definitely a fan of hers. She's cute and has a fun personality.

@@CinesterCharlie Not a sad girl tm. Fishman gets those from asylums. He picks the ones strapped to their bed 24/7. Miniko is the very opposite. She is so sweet and nice, that even Neuro can't help herself and be sweet and kind for once as well. She brings out the best in Neuro.

Evil is truly good at breaking people, not a surprise though given she's a pro at using harpoons. There is one called "Vedal Tuns Off Both Neuro's Filters And Got BANNED" where it's pure chaos from having both together.

its hard NOT to humanize evil and neuro, and vedal plays off it, like evil's birthday stream, and with all the improvements, like sound boards, toggle control, being able to google, them being able to sing, they feel more and more sentient with every upgrade, we subconsiously KNOW theyre just a VERY high quality language model, but its hard not to see the twins as real people, like the toma RL streams taking her to the zoo and aquarium, they just feel like young children

Think about who _you_ are. *What* you are. Humans are just apes with LLMs. We constantly ask ourselves 'why?' whenever we feel or instinctually do something. There's only ever one answer. "I just did/just felt like it." Because that's your biological programming. But that answer isn't satisfactory. So you logic out a reason for why you did it. And over years, all your generated lore becomes a unique personality. To give an example, two different friends always lay their knife on the sink with the blade suspended in air. One said it's because he might need it later. The other said it's just fun. I do that, too. And I can't recall a time I've ever re-used the knife, despite that being *my* reason. Because it's programming. Everyone does it. It's why it's relatable. Nuero and Evil don't have very much ability to create memories yet, but they're as much a person as a human who had been made into a brain-in-a-jar.

​@@VolyrenAn important difference is that we experience things that aren't just text, while a (non-multimodal) LLM only experiences text. It's pretty good at talking about things in the real world, but it has never experienced them directly. Imagine you had no capacity for... thirst - you were just missing that set of feelings. You could interpret thirst as "the situation where I haven't drunk enough", but there was no sensation associated with it. You could keep track of it mentally, and might not even realise you're "weird", because you'd say "hold on, I'm thirsty" when you mean "I haven't had a drink for a while". It's the thing people say when they're getting a drink. LLMs are kinda like that for absolutely everything: much like a character in a book, they don't have physical hormones, but they can be angry, happy and sad, they don't have bodies but they can talk about whether they had coffee this morning, etc. Neuro talking about how she could not be real when she had seven different kinds of hair conditioner is a good example of this - she _doesn't_, but that's something a human might say in that situation so she said it. I do have a hard time knowing at what point we should treat them as "people", but an obvious threshold is whether they can experience suffering. Unfortunately, I don't think we really know what suffering is. I would say in animals it's "an experience that makes you want to change your situation to avoid it", which is instilled in us by evolution. If it's any negative reward, then neural networks experience it every time they're trained, but that sweems... unlikely? Does a ball suffer as it rolls down a hill?

Welcome down the rabbit hole :D Neuro's is a special one to go down to. To give a little context, because it can be a little confusing. Anny is Neuro's "mother". In VTuber terms the person drawing your avatar is your mom regardless of gender as they gave "birth" to the idea you had. Anny is a VTuber herself. A cool introduction to Evil, which is not a different LLM, but Neuro prompted differently and with her own "memories" and a new paint job, would be Anny and Evil meeting for the first time. That was quite a bit ago and Vedal has been cooking in the meantime as the twins are much more coherent now, especially Evil. Regardless, a "family stream" could be a nice introduction to Neuro and the Vedal-Verse. The Swarm is watching you now :)

miniko USED to be a corporation vtuber, miyune, but they let her go, and shes indie now, she was ALSO the FIRST EVER collab with neuro back in her V1 days, playing minecraft, where her highest known clip "gun math" came from, seeing her back with the twins is so great, she was also the first person to ever do a duet with neuro, and she did another in there camping stream, this one ALSO had a song, but the clippers usually remove them

Not quite - Miyune was apparently controlled by her abusive ex, including telling her what to do and such, so she started fresh with a new persona that was all hers and not associated with the old one. So I don't think she likes when people say Mini "is" Miyune, because Miyune wasn't entirely her.

I recommend the channel *Kraul* for watching long Neuro-Sama edited videos and *Dense clips* for funny, fast-paced ones. I used to watch this channel but they don't edit anything and sometimes get boring after a while. Also, there is the official Neuro-Sama channel, but the upload rate is very late.
