Why would someone keep her so long and then get rid of her? She seems so calm and loving and she is way past the wild juvenile phase so it makes no sense why they would give her away now.

She was taken by the WCPO (Wildlife Conservation and Prevention Organization) for treatment after she was badly attacked by dogs in the Pagoda, back in February 2021. WCPO VET did surgery on her and kept her there in the Facility forever, while Hoy has no family and Troop to be released. She's almost totally blind. There are updates on official FB page of WCPO, there is Hoy to be seen with Diago, on many updates videos.
