@- king- that’s the beauty of Urdu I like other languages of South Asia which are limited to their regions Urdu transcends geographic boundaries . It is not something limited to a specific region only. P.S you guys should be happy that an Indian language has been given a prestigious status in Pakistan

@IFAJ HUSSAIN Pakistanis in general have better Urdu compared to Indians . I have relatives back in India and now unfortunately most of them can’t read and write Urdu at all plus Muslims of even UP where Urdu was born can’t pronounce sounds like Qaaf Ghain and Khay except for the older generation or some places in Lucknow or old Delhi. Most Pakistanis are not native speakers to Urdu but yet they have improved their Urdu a lot and native speakers can speak clearly

@@msr7373 yes being Indian I can say that Pakistan has better Urdu literature than India nowadays But the only problem is their Accents like punjabi,sindhi pashto which kill the original beauty and royalty of Urdu. Urdu is not only about adding more and more Persian words. Urdu is most importantly its beauty royalty and phonetics.

Hindi and Urdu ate two great languages of Awadh region of India. Ye dono zabane ghulam Hindustan ki Awadh riyasat ki mukhtalif zabane thin aur hamesha rahengi, hamen inse muhabbat honi chahiye. Aap Hindu ke nukht-e-nazar se dekhenge to aapko Hindi se muhabbat hogi aur hona lazimi bhi hai lekin Urdu se nafrat nahi honi chahiye. Aur yahi baat hamare musalman bhaiyo ko bhi samajhna hoga Hindi unki bhi utni hi zaban hai jaise Urdu hai. Aaj bahot sare Hindu khaalis Hindi bolna nahi jante aur sare Muslim khaalis Urdu nahi jante, bahot se to Urdu, Farsi likh padh bhi nahi paate. Bahot se logon ko Urdu ke hurufon ka talafuzz bhi theek se nahi aata. Aise me kisi zaban par itna ghurur karna theek nahi hai. Aapas me nafrat mat rakhiye. Isse kaumi yakjehti aur badhegi. Wo kaisa manzar hoga jisme Hindu kaum Urdu, Farsi seekhen aur Muslim bhai Hindi, Sanskrit seekhen. Kisi zaban ke liye ek dusre ke mazhab ko gaali mat dijiye. @@amanshukla75227 Not really....If by hindi you mean dialects of shauraseni Prakrit like khadiboli, braj ,awadhi then yes but they were never called hindi. When dialects like khadiboli were persianised by Persian poets they gave rise to a new language called hindavi or hindustani(earlier form of Urdu) after a few centuries this hindavi was standardized into Urdu by many great poets. Then came Hindi as a policy of British divide and rule policy. They portrayed Urdu as language of muslims and Hindi as Hindus. Then Persian words were tried to removed and Sanskrit words were added artificially. Nobody in India speaks and writes in standard Hindi. Before Independence all Educated north Indians(Hindus,muslims,Sikhs) spoke Urdu and the common masses spoke Hindustani. Till today in India masses speak Hindustani/Urdu more than Hindi.

@@ahmadjutt6440 Pakistan belongs to the Muslims of entire subcontinent as it was made as the homeland for entire subcontinent. It’s not some personal property of Sindhi Punjabi baloch or Pashtuns . The entire Pakistan movement began and was primary fought in present day India . It was the leaders of same Lucknow UP and students of Aligarh who went to PIA I to convince the clergy and elite there to support Pakistan movement otherwise they were sitting in the lap of unionists congress and Akali dal. Pashtuns didn’t even supported to movement as they voted for bacha khan and pro congress factions . Yeh Lucknow UP Bihar Hyderabad Bhopal walon ko hi mehnat hai jo aaj aap apnay aapko Pakistani kehalwa rahay ho . And Urdu has been the official language of Punjab and most of Pakistan since last 150 years atleast . Punjabis have contributed more to Urdu then maybe even the Urdu speakers . This country belongs to Urdu and Urdu speakers as much as anyone else.
