Seriously atika and nandita are so passionate and honest about their works as well as nawaz but these women are so so gorgeous not by their looks or bodies but their intense passion to their work and how they know and remember such great facts such as the song as the Bengali poet it just took my breath away ...they are mesmerizing and i would die to be with such women even as a friend if i cant prove to be deserving enough as a companion.They are those women that are my ideals of living a life full of passion towards my work oblivious of all the hurdles imposed to them being a woman. Such women are inspiration to men as well as women .

Yes, saw that... I love his interviews and reviews but I was disappointed by his lack of sensitivity in interviewing Nawaz. Nandita speaks very good Hindi, hence the whole interview could have been in that language, there was no need for English.And, also, I understand his audience expects English, but in the past I have seen him doing interviews in Hindi as well. I am writing this comment in English, only because I find it easier on the keyboard, if we ever talk, I will speak to you in Hindi/Urdu/Hindustani.

All are so charming. I've always loved Nandita Das. I've never been a fan of anyone except Dilip Kumar. I enjoyed watching this interview and I'm confident Manto will be an extraordinary movie. I will surely watch the movie. There are no cinemas in Srinagar (not Shrinagar ) Kashmir. I've other sources like Amazon and Netflix to watch the movie.

Saadat Hassan Manto was a complex person and lived a complex life before his untimely death in January 1955. I don't know how much research Nandita might have done on this subject matter and how she has weaved the plot of this movie but one thing is for sure and that is that even few aspects of Manto's life is enough to grip the minds of even those individuals who have shortest possible attention spans. A brave subject Nandita has chosen to adapt for film.
