Thank you very much for uploading this! I missed seeing these on the main channel I think you might be right about their consistency. Their style is just so good, they can do so much with it. It’s entertaining every time and never gets old. Something about that style and the way they produce is phenomenal. It’s almost impossible not to like that beautiful melodic intro to gritty and in your face style. They’ve got unique sound design, and that energy that not all artists have the ability nail every. single. time. I think another thing that makes barely alive so exciting is that we know their style, we know that we can expect something heavy or beautifully melodic - yet we still never quite know how exactly it’s going to drop. It’s still a surprise every time with every song. Hard to put into words.

I think one of the most consistent artist this modern dubstep era has to be Zomboy, although his recent EP felt a bit lacking compared to his Rott N' Roll series, i think he's definitely one of the most, arguably the most consistent alongside BA. And i also think of Virtual Riot, hell even PhaseOne, his recent tracks are literal fire. And the other few artists has to be Eptic, NGHTMRE and Excision. But i think it has to be Zomboy.

My personal pick would have to go to AU5, i feel like he is in complete control of what he makes and knows exactly what he wants to do with his songs, and he clearly lets it show.

Also, for the record I really like ‘Crash Landing’ now, love the Drew Seeley vocal as well. Perfect case for hearing everything at least twice before knowing what I make of it - this is a first listen, not a review!

Forever been a fan of Barely Alive but they’ve been my firm favourites since the Odyssey album in 2018. I’m completely hooked to the 80’s atmosphere in their music. They deserve all the plaudits.
