This is a sub-tier jomboy breakdown. It’s an incredible moment but a lacking breakdown
@tellurdogisaidhi8462 жыл бұрын
@@pohorex6834 that’s a fair critique. Do I love him analyzing something that highlights his expertise of baseball or helps create fans of cricket? Absolutely. But because this doesn’t have a deep technical expertise on showcase doesn’t mean it is sub tier.
@pohorex68342 жыл бұрын
@@tellurdogisaidhi846 I just don’t think he put much effort into this. He could’ve talked about how the guardians were down 6 going into the 9th, how naylor broke his leg in half last year and there were questions if he’d ever be able to return, he didn’t get the record stat correct either (8 RBIs in the 8th inning or later). He didn’t lay the groundwork to highlight why this event was such a big thing. On its own it’s cool, but the details make it so great.

I don't watch baseball, but I love Jomboy breakdowns. Imagine hitting a grand slam to tie the game and you're still mad as hell. lol Later you hit a home run which gives your team the lead and you're even madder. Loved his humility at the end, though. Reminds me of back in high school we had an opposing player named "Bates" who had a funny stance. We were chanting "Master, Master" when he would get up. First two times at bat, he did some damage (don't recall if it was HR or triples or what, just that it wasn't good for us). The third time he was up in the game, we started shushing anyone that did the chant. Guy didn't hit the ball after that. lol
