When she came in the limelight of Indian Music in the movie Quarbani by signing a lovely song I was obsessed by her enchanting voice in the year 1980 and thereafter she became a beauty icon in the mind of that generation. I was so much impressed by her bewitching beauty and enchanting voice that I began to buy all records and cassettes and all kind of magazines containing writing about her and her photograhs. Then her life size photos would keep hanging in some music shop and one day I bought one photo and hang on the wall of my study room. Then I was twenty years old. She had so soothingly matured Voice which always would touch my heart. The lyric of this song then attracted me magically. Once I and my sister prepared to meet her in Mumbai where she was staying but due to lack of money then we had to cancel the plan. Perhaps she passed away in 2002 suffering from cancer. Nazia Hassan sang with great respected Kishore KUMAR of Indian Hindi movie iconic legendary singer. My sister and I always speak about her at home whenever we listen her beautiful enchanting songs. RIP.

I am 32 now , but i remember this song playing on my brother's music system. and on Radio. I am seeing her face for the first time. But feeling sad that she is no more. Her voice took me back to my childhood and her voice is so familiar that i could not restrain myself from googling her and found that " aap jaisa koi" was also sang by her .
