Gotta admit, the 2D definitely flows better at more points than the 3D, but the 3D has some flare to it. Some of the scenes look amazing in 3D, while some don’t exactly flow well with the dialogue and action. Overall, an impressive presentation

Alright, although I'm not that good of an animator, I don't even animate in 3d but I did notice what you were speaking of, here's more of what I noticed, maybe it'll help (I'll keep updating the comment as I watch more of the video) Animation wise, it's good but not perfect, there some missing or extra movements. Maybe an increase of frames or decrease (depends on the scene) The effects weren't the best, the energy nazo charged and shot at tails were less detailed and gave less effect on the background's color (notice how the 2d is filled with red) Some effects weren't spreading enough, like the scene where the emeralds shine before sonic turns dark and some of the impact shots. But other than that, I liked the effects on dark super sonic and super sonic. The models look fine, but nazo's model looks like a carbon copy of sonic, it's not supposed to be cyan colored but more of grey/silver and his eyes are sharper and the circle of Sonic's belly is still visible too. Backgrounds are an eh, they lack some details and shading and objects. 4:25 Rip nazo's D, shadow really went that low 😂, the 2 version goes a bit higher so it looks like he's punching his stomach. 4:38 the 2d makes the rock look cracked while the 3d makes it look like it's a volcanic floor.

@@Silent0Xs You essentially broke down what I said in longer terms. I appreciate that. I like the 3D because it has so great flare to its animation but it lacks at times. The 2D may not be perfect but compared to the 3D, he flows better and everything for the most part is very well presented. 3D could’ve been done better tho. I agree with you

@@HanginWitLucid I haven't checked the original project, the 3d one, but I assume it's a one manned project that's why it lacks a bit, maybe putting some split efforts into it will maybe help the maker, 2d animation itself is a hard thing itself, imagine 3d, tho I gotta respect the creator, even with 2d but I still suck. Edit: it was a one manned project plus it's animated in MMD, I don't think MMD is the Sharpest tool in the shed.

@@Silent0Xs I get that for sure. The 2D to me, I give it an 8.5 out of 10 (the original version when it came out); but for the remastered version is damn near flawless with a 9.7 out of 10 for me. The 3D one could’ve used some more details with the background as well as the character’s movements, and timing with the audio, but despite that, it is really good. The 2D one is really good as well, but I would be lying if I said that the art wouldn’t need some improvement. I’m not saying that it’s bad because the first time I watched it, I was obsessed. I remember every line, that’s how many times I’ve watched it. So yeah. If anyone has a problem with my opinion of the 3D and 2D versions of Nazo Unleashed, don’t bother. Just a note to any cyber Karens/Kevins out there.

I'm going to say one thing the animation in 2D was done by one personne name ChakraX, in 2009 so for me it's normal and the creator itself created more beautiful animation and even more to come 😉 He's already improving
