Ome thing I agree/disagree with is you ranking of Dark Sonic. Super Sonic fought a metrex general and lost/ran out of time. In the very beginning of that saga. Those Metrex have record of that battle. So in the context of the show only, even with the 700 fake emeralds. They make him stronger than Super Sonic. Hyper Sonic hasn't returned as a narrative decision. Hyper Sonic is just a better Super Sonic, so it would literally just be the same as a Super Sonic boss, but with Hyper Sonic. Also, power creep plays a huge part in it too. Excalibur Sonic and Darkspine Sonic exist because they are unique and can do things that Super Sonic can't.

Power wise, Excalibur is the strongest. It’s just explicitly stated as such. It also grants immortality and allows you to kill immortal people. It also debatably can cut through anything. The only benefits the Super Form has is hax. Also in regards to the Super vs Dark form, the positive energy in the Superform should overpower the negative energy.

Canonically, Sonic fought Merlina AFTER fighting Erazor Jinn and he got slammed by her at full power + he had Caliburn. Once he went to Excalibur Sonic he obliterated her. I mean i do get listing the cyber forms as varients of the super sonic form but i do kinda think technically cyber sonic (ya know the black and blue and white eyed one) is probably stronger then hyper sonic now i aint gonna just say this hot take without my reasoning for this so essentially hyper sonic was really only above super sonic because it was stated and clearly presented within the game that it is a better form then super sonic however the blue eyed stage of super sonic does the exact same thing now someone tried telling me hyper is above this because super emralds are just better chaos emralds which is true dont get me wrong but i think this cyber corruption buff is much stronger then we may realize. I actually think super sonic 2(blue eyed version) and hyper sonic are on par with eachother. And obviously since the cyber form is above super sonic 2 it would be above hyper sonic. HOWEVER that being said hyper may still be the better form in general since the cyber form was a one and done and does not nearly last as long and to make it worse it gets rid of the blue eyed varient permanently as well meanwhile hyper can go all out without major draw back so though cyber may be stronger its worse long term definitely a last stand type of form. Well it’s all head-canon anyway but even still theoretically Hyper Sonic in modern lore should still take it simply because upgraded emeralds(Super Emeralds) would triumph over Cyber energy. What I like to think is that Super Sonic(Blue eyes) and Cyber are like Ultra forms of Super Sonic like how Dragon ball Z had. It’s basically the max limit of Super Sonic(or the super form). Hyper sonic in this case being the equivalent to SS2 since it’s an actual change in form.

Well, personally, I can't choose hyper because it looks biased. He doesn't have a canonical feat, he wasn't even part of the story. At the same time, the cyber appeared in the story and in those seconds perfectly demonstrated why it is better not to mess with it. In addition, I believe that Sonic learned to generate cyber energy himself, as all of the Ancients' technology was powered by the energy of the Chaos Emeralds, even Cyberspace, which suggests that the cyber energy itself comes from the Chaos Emeralds. That at least explains why the game called cyber energy the Super Sonic's hidden power.
