don’t let the short video fool you! i do love that she just gets right to the point but as a semi-beginner crocheter this took me around 3 hours 😭
@gnohhet16 ай бұрын
On my 2nd attempt, I tried starting with 8 instead of 15 and using single stich instead of dc. I manage to get a smaller version, not as tiring and build time is very much shorter..

I do a magic ring instead of a chain circle at the beginning and I find it a lot easier. Love this tutorial
@aleeza1420 Жыл бұрын
Hi i'm new to crocheting and i'm having trouble with the chain circle, when you did the magic circle did you follow the same pattern (like chain 3 do 15 double crochets in the ring)? I'd really appreciate your help!
@THCROCHEFISH Жыл бұрын
Yes, it is the same process. Ppl use ch circle cuz they think it is easier, I used magic circle. Whatever works for u! ☺️

This is a really good and beginner friendly tutorial. You show exactly what you do and explain it point on without any unnecessary things around. I have adhd and love crafting, but often I have a hard time following what people do cause they have messy backgrounds or talk to much or just assume I know what to do while watching them.... but your tutorial is great. I will crochet carnations for mother's day this year!

mine came out hydrangea sized!! absolutely enormous, i love it!! (used medium yarn and a 4.5 mm hook) these are going to make a phenomenal bouquet for my table that will never go bad!

I really like this pattern. I have one that has you SC, then ch 3 in each stitch for 5 rows and that's it. What I did was attach it to an artificial leaf with stem and place in a bud vase. Looks like an arrangement. I made them all the time,and placed one at my Father's casket when he passed in Aug of 2019. Then the next yr when his sister passed I took one of them and placed it in her casket so that they were together again. ❤
