I played against a max A.I difficulty Anderson Silva On every UFC game from UFC Undisputed 2009 to UFC 5. I'll compare each games gameplay and character model to see how Silva evolved through out the games. I will also rate the difficulty of each game. Enjoy the video.

Undisputed games actually look pretty good for their time

They felt very realistic and had many features that are just now being reintroduced like dr stoppages and the way chins react to better timing and shot selection and taking open shots are way more punishing in the older games

The ground and pound in these undisputed games were the absolute best you'll ever experience. One of the biggest reasons I became a huge Chael Sonnen fan. In that game, Chael Sonnens wrestling was cracked. Also, with the Heavyweights, if you got mounted with someone like Brock Lesnar or Shane Carwin, it only took 3 or 4 shots to win the fight. 2 consecutive shots was already a stun. Oh and there was no such thing as bobbleheading. You had to time the strike and catch it and pull them back in so you can transition to a safer place. Ahhh the memories

UFC Undisputed 3 is still the best UFC branded game IMO. It has features and animations EA UFC 5 doesn't even have. We had it good in 2012 and didn't even know it.

@@shawnpaquette5835 UFC Undisputed 3 and EA's MMA (2010 game) are twp of the best MMA games to exist in my opinion. If you're willing to get a copy for PS3/360 or emulate either one of those games, it's worth it.

Undisputed 2009 to this day is my Favorite because of the nostalgia and the struggle that comes with its Gameplay , i remember to this day how me , my older brother and my uncles played it for hours on some days having blisters all over hands because of the button mashing in this Game , as much as it hurt having blisters nearly everytime i loved THQ for the Gameplay in the UFC and WWE Games of that Time because they were G.O.A.T Level games and brought memories filled with joy and laughter

Undisputed being responsive automatically makes it more fun than recent UFC games. In recent games, it feels like your controller sends imputs via letters. So frustrating going to lean back and throw an uppercut just for your fighter to lean back and then do nothing.

Undisputed 3 is such a banger. On higher difficulty, my strategy for Silva was Feinting and leg kicks and body shots. I always found it eerily bizarre how he had his leg broken in the Wiedman fight almost similar to how I beat him once by a leg stoppage.

There are so many mechanics to ufc undisputed 3 in grappling and striking that make it the most deep and fun ufc game to play. Ultimate difficulty is the peak of ai fighters learning in my opinion and they will set you up for things and you can set them up as well. There are 2 different types of feints for example and you can feint strikes on the ground and in the clinch as well to open up transitions.

For UFC 3 Undisputed holding the right thumbstick towards the opponent when grappling or when being clinched will counter clinch attempts and hold opponents down so they cannot transition or posture up. Quarter and half circle turns are used for your grappling/clinch transitions. Head movement is really important for counterstriking aswell, you hold right bumper and flick the left stick to move your head. Left trigger and forward with right stick when standing will do a takedown. Overall imo having played every EA ufc, undisputed 3 is simply better in every way aside from lacking online functionality and modern fighters lol. Would love to see you play it more.
