I'm so happy! I finally learned how to do putback dunks; in fact I just did 5 in one game lol. I have been trying for so long, since 2k14. I have never gotten one until now. it's all about the timing.

How did you time it and where would you stand I always end up like under the damn goal out of bounds

ChrisShields ENT u start holding X+RT while pushing on the LS (for Xbox One) as soon as u r about to step inside the paint, and that's if you're already outside the paint, and make sure you have a clear lane; now if you're already present in the paint when the shot is taken, then u must wait for it to make contact with the rim and also have ur man boxed out before that.

Oh and in my gamertag, the first letter is a miniscule/lowercase "L" not a majuscule/uppercase "i"; a lot of people think it's an "i", but it's not.

Yo Shake, great video!! But could you please do a Ultimate layup and dunking for for NBA 2k17 for xbox 360 because the controls for 360 and xbox one are different. I have been struggling to do flashy dunks like 360's and have been trying to do the Jamal Crawford 'shake and bake'. Please could you upload tutorials on how to do it, I would appreciate that very much shake cause you are my go to man for nba 2k tutorials and gameplay man you explain well than other guys. i hope to hear from you soon.

for contact dunks does it matter which of controls you use square or shot stick up, down, right, left? Also where should you start your dunk attempt for contact/driving dunks? I always end up doing layups instead. Trying to learn my favorite playstyle for my SF Slasher

Ive always used a short guard 6'3, 6'4. In 2k14 i had like 6 put backs and 2 of them were in the 2v2 which i thought at the time was impossible so i went crazy lml. And in 16 i only got 1 which i threw down over 3 defenders lmao. They were 6'8+ too 😂

Putbacks are never easy. The biggest thing is recognizing the spacing it's tough to see especially in mycareer when the CPU boxes out 95% of the time.
