I grew up playing bulls vs lakers in the 90's and how much time we put into it. When 2k11 came out it was a gamechanger. Being able to play as jordan and to try and match his stats during his career were next level. Hopefully future 2k's think along those lines and not just monetizing the game.

#17 - SERVER SHUTDOWN - 2k games will shut off the 2k23 servers two years after release, which will terminate your MyPlayer and MyTeam and all of the microtransactions you've spent on it. Leaving you with just the offline exhibition and offline GM modes.

Being objective ever year, this is a good year to pick up the game whether you bought it last year or not. Jordan mode is back and expanded, MyNBA is expanded and revamped, myplayer is revamped(remains to be seen if it's good or will be patched to hell), and MyTeam always has a ton of content. I feel like this is one of those 2k's I'll fw for a few years. They really dropped the ball not doing a Kobe mode a few years back so I'm glad one is here.

It seems like every year it's the same game with some minor changes but with more microtransactions. I haven't bought a NBA 2k title since 2k16 although I did get 2k21to have for the next gen(current gen now). Other than having access to 2k22 when I want to because of my Playstation subscription, this will be the only NBA 2K title I get because of The Jordan challenges,otherwise I don't see the sense of buying the same game every year and to be honest I'm not in a rush to pick up this title either.

unless it has a revamped mycareer i'm sticking with nba 2k22 that i bought for $9 and use WeMod Cheat Trainer to get pass the Micro-transaction grind on PC. Currently playing on the Pelicans with a 92 rated player because of the light grind I been playing through with the help of the trainer. Just like Madden, unless they actually improve the game stick with the previous game instead. Also, don't mention the wemod trainer on steam, you will get a warning and or ban
