I stumbled upon your channel a couple weeks ago and started using your settings. It’s been some of the most fun I’ve ever had playing 2k and I’ve been playing since 2k8. I just wish we could get this for MyCareer because the CPU is so bad, especially your own teammates. Anyway thanks for making the game fun for everyone that cares about this stuff. I was really tired of winning by 70 on regular HOF difficulty. I am having a blast with your slider settings! I just made some small adjustments after trying out different setups: +3 shooting percentage on all types, +3 Steals (for some more entertaining fast breaks) and 55 game speed on current gen to allow for some of the high scoring games we see in this season and on the other side still have a realistic number of rebounds per game. I have created an expansion league with 36 teams and 70 games per season and watched one game per game day. For the others I used Sim Cast Live to avoid any mere dice roll. Can't remember when was the last time I had so much fun with a sports game. Thank you very much and best regards from Germany!

@@Trudragon88 pretty good actually. My only gripe is that unless you have a star pf or center they wont take shots with these settings, you have to change the settings on the player to take more shots and get more touches and yes I tested it with different offensive schemes as well

I just tried these on Steam myCareer and frankly, it's delightful. Thank you so much. Instead of MP the rookie taking all the shots, I can swing the ball to the wing, like a rook would, and spend the initial grinding phase facilitating, and playing defense, you know, the kind of things MP would be doing to stay on the floor. Guys miss shots. Guys make shots. Guys dont pull up on a fast break at 14 feet and brick a jumper. Thank you so, so much.

So I just spent hours in MyLeague building a fantasy team. I went as far as to pick out every single play for the playbook and tried to set up a coach game plan for the team I was gonna go against. I'm just now figuring out that in CPU VS CPU they don't even use your game plan and I'm pretty sure they are not even using the playbook. The cpu is just doing whatever pulling plays from whatever ... 2k Needs to make a mode where we can be the staff and we essentially draft, sign, and customize our team and gameplan then send our cpu team to face other online people's cpu team. And maybe a step further, while it's cpu Vs cpu we both can coach, call out plays, substitute when we want, call time outs etc.

Pop my boy i have a question for you. Which one is the most realistic slider set of your slider sets? I know the difficulty levels are different but for example its too easy to shoot on Superstar sliders but not easy on Hof sliders. Which would you recommend for realism?

Yeah it's the programming for sure. Happens no matter what sliders u have. I just sighed and accepted it and focused on the %'s in my testing. It's a little annoying I agree

This set is a CPU vs CPU set tho, so we can't do player lock on a CPU vs CPU set. As far as doing player lock with the gameplay sliders, I do some of my testing on player lock. I'm gonna focus in on player lock soon tho. Just to see if there's any changes we can make to make it better. If there's anything, I'll for sure come out with a set specifically for player lock! Here's the real problem with the sliders and player lock tho: The user side of the sliders effects ur AI teammates as well as ur player. That's why I always try to tell 2K that we need a separate set of the sliders for player lock! That's the only way we can ever truly address all the issues!! We need 2 user slider sets for player lock: one for just ur player and one for ur teammates. Until then, we're left just tryna fix 2 separate issues with only one slider. For example, ur teammates could be shooting poorly, so u raise the user shooting sliders. However, that now makes shooting too easy for ur player. So now we're sitting here tryna get it in the middle so it's not half bad on each side...but it's never truly right for both. I still play 2K23 on current gen cuz I got to download it for free and I'm not paying for another 2K game but what I find interesting is there's different results for watching CPU vs CPU opposed to simulating games. It seems like when you watch CPU vs CPU the Superstar does not do what the superstars supposed to do. But when you simulate the game the Superstar drops 25 ppg+, 30Ppg+ Idk how to fix that

For anybody reading this after experimenting with these settings and trying it out with player lock I can honestly say this might be the best setting for player lock in my opinion. Everything is equal on both side from the shots your teammates and opponents take down to the defense they play.

Pop I am trying to use defensive settings in the cpu and in my team, that turn assist D better. In my team they work very well, like the bots really help and make rotations. But in the other team with the same settings the cpu don't make nothing just defend 1vs1

Hey man. Idk if this is an outlier or not but I just played a game between the Raptors and Knicks and man was this game tough to watch. The scores weren’t TOO out of the ordinary the game finished at 94-83 Knicks. But both teams shot terrible, Raptors 34% from the field and the Knicks 35. Raptors were 22% from 3 and Knicks were 31. I see everyone else saying that the sliders are great so maybe I just had a really bad game for shooting ?

That’s one thing you might have to do yourself, I took the time to go ahead n do it because of how fucked the clippers, heat, and bucks get in simulation.

@@Fr3sHbOi1000 role players as well and don’t b worried about bumping stuff too high, like for example I had to give some like Royce O’Neal an 80-85 ball control since he does handle the rock a lot for the nets and he won’t b good at in the sim if I don’t do that n like give him unpluckable turn up his dish to open man tendencies etc. but yeah basically went through every roster n touched up who needed some fixing, players like grimes for the knicks, Huerter for the kings, Onkeyka for the Hawks and ofc all the elite players like jimmy, kawhi, Dejounte, Randle who 2k just doesn’t like 😂 Also go into the edit player, check their like peak end age and start age, and change their preferred plays, like Kawhi doesn’t have midrange n post ups in his preferred plays even though he lives in the midranges n that also determines how they play, each player gets 4.

Yeah I would say ur right in general. I feel like they go for some of my fakes but it's not as much as last year. MAN DO I WISH THEY WOULD BRING BACK THE PUMP FAKE DISCIPLINE SLIDER!! No clue why they just took that out a few years ago?? With the screens, it's weird cuz the off ball screens r OP IMO but the on ball screens aren't effective enough. There's hope to make it better tho...I actually think I might be able to affect it using the illegal screen frequency slider (as weird as that sounds). I'm gonna do some more testing on it and I'll have a video for it if I find it makes a difference!

I need the perfect balance between like a kawhi or pippens defense making a difference on the court.. but at the same time I want someone like KD to be able to drain contested jumpers in ppls face sometimes

Hey man I love these sliders, I truly do. But does anyone have the problem where even after the first season, players like Kawhi, PG, Kyrie even AD just drop in overall and scoring and also the teams start losing. I’ve seen Kawhi average 24ppg in season 1 then season 2 he’s averaging 19ppg same thing with PG. I’ve seen teams like the bucks n nuggets even grizzlies just fall of after 2 seasons, makes no sense, why does all the great player regress so hard because no way the bucks gonna be losing and no way kyrie and Kawhi should be averaging 19ppg.

I've always like the 2K cam the best...I guess it's weird cuz that's not how u watch a normal NBA game. I think it's just cuz that's the cam I play on. Also it's good for testing. I feel like I can see angles and stuff when I'm studying the on-ball D and stuff like that! I guess the rail cam is cool too in small doses. Do u watch on the broadcast cam like normal?

@@alphalimaecho8752 Yes. Go to the settings and go to where the timers are. And set CPU trades to like 2mins or something or to what ever time you want the CPU to do trades. Then just wait for the timers to expire and they should make trades. My only problem with it is that the CPU some times don’t make trades. You just have to monitor the transaction report to see if the CPU made trades or not. I hope that help.

I’ve noticed Jimmy doesn’t score that much when watching but if you sim the game he scores a good amount. And some players score little when simed but too much when watched. Guess it has to do with how the sliders clash with some badges

I have OG anunoby wanting to shoot 18 times before the second quarter ends going for 4-18 meanwhile Joel embiid hasn't touched the ball for 8 minutes straight I'm finishing the game with 8, 10 points and 5 rebounds. But then when I stimulate the game then all of a sudden Embiid wants to drop 40 points 10 rebounds and 7 assists: idk how to fix it

Yeah either way...the quarter length really just affects the proportions of the stats if u know what I mean. It doesn't change the actual gameplay or the calibrations of the sliders. If u do 6 minute quarters, then u just double the stats of course to get a good idea of how they compare to real life. I wouldn't really go lower than 4 minutes just to get a good sample size in the game tho👍

What's up Pop I thank you for all your work and am liking the Next-Gen sliders I do have a problem though. I play with my dad and we each have a player he player locks and I control the whole team and we play 12 minute quarters. The problem is we sub our guys out like regular players and when we do we use simcast live because regular simcast will automatically sub people in and out. So my problem is simcast live is so bad for stats such as we put our bench in and our guys will literally go like 2 for 20 from the field at best no matter who is playing. It's so annoying and really ruins playing this way for me. Do you have any idea how I can fix this or a different way we can sim without our guys getting automatically subbed in when I don't want them to?

Oh that doesn't matter at all...the difficulty u see at the top in the sliders will change to custom whenever u change any slider. Those r just 2K's pre-sets or default diff levels. They're not good so we for sure want custom sliders and thus, custom difficulty. And then with the CPU vs CPU sliders, there can be no diff levels cuz it's 2 CPU teams operating off the same sliders (the CPU side of course)
