One addition I wanna add that I forgot to tell you, stamina seemed WAY more important for dunking than past years. If I was low on stam, it was nearly impossible to get contacts to pop up. So as I got deeper into games it became harder and harder to do so, compared to the beginning of the games. Likewise with obviously the more I had to dribble to get to the lane, the less likely I was to finish.

I think this will combat one person offense, forcing more passes. In that aspect with left right cheese being "gone" this is good forcing more of a team game. But I do think they need a slight buff because ifnrunning up the court of catch is one adrenaline bar in 2 seconds or so, I think that's weird my thoughts. Call me an old head but I love the strength and stamina changes. I feel like the last 5 2k’s Ive just been guarding left right and moving around screens P.S- I realize that this will probably cause more screens but I would much rather guard a pick and roll with the stamina because ball handlers arent going to be able to go back and forth until they get the screen animation. The screens are fine, if they run a good screen play they deserve the bucket but thats not how screens were used in past 2k’s, just went left, right waiting to get a good screen animation. Its forcing people to actually do stuff that happens in real life, not just 2 sitting corner while one guy dribbles left right until he gets an ankle break animation that the defender cant even control no matter how good he plays it

@briannabarrow58542 жыл бұрын
Oh bud then you’re in for it this year the low stamina means people only finna use screens more bc that’s gonna get them open more than left right since it’s gone it’s gonna be screen right screen left w the ball handler jogging around it (not sprinting) and going to the hoop or open mid and if done properly people gonna be SCREAMING about screens bc if you have a good big that can shoot as well as the guard it’s gonna get corny screen and pop then screen and roll and if the big isn’t open most likely the g will be

Don’t get me wrong I like the idea to but people don’t realize what it’s gonna make the game come to just screens with pop or rolls and lots of cheese just like before just in different ways and don’t get me started on them wanting to IMPROVE finishers bc In 22 it’s already overpowered I have a 75 driving dunk and can legit dunk on bigs and I’m not even a slashing build I’m a 2way play I can do all shoot drive defense playmake so it don’t make since to improve finishing when builds who aren’t slashers can dunk just as good with the right badges and dunk animations
@consciousbuddah2 жыл бұрын
@@briannabarrow5854 I mean….that’s basketball. Screens were never hard to get around in 2k. It was chasing a guard that never lost any stamina around double screens for 24 seconds a possession that got annoying. Especially since 2k would bail them out with its garbage shot contest system.

The late green is not only suspenseful, it’s more realistic. Just like you feel when a shot should go in as soon as you release when playing IRL, you feel the same thing when holding the shoot button. In real life, the ball going into the net is what reassures you that it was a great release. The green animation is what lets you know in the game. It encourages either moving the ball or actually making progress towards the basket instead of, as the defending team, watching a team play 5 out because the pg never loses stamina & can infinitely dribble at the top of the key spamming 2 or 3 known-to-work combos. 2k has been the same for too long. Great info and footage. I appreciate the vid man. Two things I noticed: 1. The perfect release indicator (green) didn't pop up until after the ball traveled halfway across the arc of the shot instead of not appearing until the ball hit the rim like Mike Wang tweeted. Maybe this is a slight change made since the Courtside report? Either way I think it's way better than us getting green release indicators as soon as we shoot like in past 2ks. I welcome either change. 2. Notice that in Lakerfans footage so dribble moves didn't consume an adrenaline meter. It instead only consumed stamina. So maybe the adrenaline meter only counts for hard dribble moves like a size up where you're holding turbo. Again. Either way I like the change because any of these changes will actually introduce a skill Gao amongst players. Guys will have to know their entire dribble animation arsenal instead of just using the same two moves they found on YT to beat every defender

The biggest issue with 2k games is the AI. And alot of it is due to the mycareer/VC mode. So theres an algorithmic type engine designed to limit the amount of VC obtained during gameplay. Very unrealistic when it occurs. Nobody ever mentions that and therefore Don't seem like they are doing anything to fix that this year.

Why would the big youtubers say anything bad about the game when 2K caters to them, fly’s them out, lets them play a demo that should be available to the public, put them in a hotel, and give them a virtual logo on 2K? 2K is smart man LMAO.

Hoping that was a bug, but they need to keep the rest the same. Throughout the gameplay you can tell, although its AI, he was able to make quick plays to get open or drive. No reason to be dribbling the entire shot clock without any penalties. Also, its possible that certain badges can help, who knows.
