I think people hate 2k24 because there’s really nothing else to do no fun events like dodgeball from over years. 2k just want the money they never give free stuff out to the community like they used to. People just want fun engaging events and not a boring game

So many bugs in the game that they didn’t even attempt to fix. Imma list all I’ve noticed 1. Dunk meter relies on angles instead of ratings 2. Interior defense is STILL trash 3. Slowed down gameplay 4. Offense and defense STILL aren’t balanced(sliding on defense and feeling like you’re in quick sand) 5. Forced missed shots due to “real shooting percentages” 6. Catching a wild pass always ends in going out of bounds 7. Some attributes being tied to each other doesn’t make sense(Example: lateral movement is tied to acceleration instead of speed) This is just to name a few, a new game is about to drop and all of these problems were left in the game all year round. I don’t have high expectations for 25, if the reviews from people like GB3 are bad, I will skip💯

I talked about this on my stream lol…2k can’t do this because people would simply just boost lol….instead, 2k could give you 2 options when someone backs-out….1. Let you finish the game against the AI and get the rewards or 2. Let you back out with no rewards but if you’re on a streak in stage or park, your streak still goes up. But they severely need to tone done the AI skill level lmaoo

The BIGGEST problem i had in this 2k out of any others that I played was the LATENCY it was so bad this year and nothing u could do about it. The only thing you could do is reduce it a little which didnt really help.

Incredibly hard shooting scheme is this one compared to others. It feels extremely rewarding just to land a wide open mid range shot. Can't help but celebrate when an A+ 3pt shooter actually hits one during the game. Playing a season in this game is for the birds. Only saving grace is online and couch co-op with friends. I dunno how they messed up the passing scheme too. We use to be able to aim the analog at a player and you'd be able to pass to them. This new 50/50 passing scheme leads to a ridiculous amount of turnovers because the passing can go anywhere. To combat that, you must hold down the R1 bumper your entire possessions and pass like you're in a 4 WR set in Madden directly to the player of your choice in order to avoid turnovers. I think a lot of this is due to the Elden Ring craze of insane difficulty. Ultimately, I think it hurt more than helped, though, because taking scoring out of a basketball game really killed the fun factor here.

Glad you ain’t just shttn on the game saying it’s terrible like most ppl. I haven’t played 2k since 17 I came back when 24 dropped and I like it. Dribbling’s fun a lot more tech to it than what it was and thats okay. Shooting isn’t free you actually gotta learn the timings and ya jumper queue no free whites anymore. Defense is iffy and the delay is still there but overall its solid once you learn how to deal w the bs. Now post scoring is a whole problem in and of itself if they would make a better contest system and less glitch animations for it then it’d be better.

Frame rate has been an issue since the whole next gen version of 2k dropped. It’s not terrible but at times of loading in the park or even playing in events, stage,and park the frame rate is choppy. They could’ve optimized the game more in my opinion the older 2k’s graphically looked and felt smoother and better as a whole. I feel like they genuinely try to please the community more instead of actually producing a better 2k. But who knows maybe its just me

There’s no such thing as a perfect game…10 is off the table…generational games such as Fortnite, Mario, GTA are 9s…games like Warzone, Halo, Mortal Kombat are 8s…sports games are generally never even on list of games that are good…7/10 is a very very good ranking for a sports game considering it’s competition…if 2k24 is being compared to other sports games released this year…it without a doubt is a top 3 game…if 24 is being compared to past 2ks it is for certain in the top 5 list

1. If you’re referring to the floaters i was spamming on in the theatre clips……my opponent was a 78ovr 6’3 with no defense…..he stood 0 chance stopping me…if you play someone who knows how to stop floaters with the appropriate build requirements….the bs acrobatic floaters aren’t gonna work majority the time….also…if you miss one game and hit the next……..that’s not 2ks fault…sliders, server delays, shot timings generally don’t change from game to game……i can go 9 games straight in park without missing a single shot.

I agree somewhat but when it comes to dribbling let’s be honest if you’re not using a pacific type of dribble moves your character is not gonna move as fluently as others and on top of that there’s several broken things in the game like how you can make 95% contested layups or you can dunk on the whole team if you have a decently high standing dunk this game is broken but the main reason why it’s trash is it because it ignores is core audience and it’s not connected on top of that adding things that pretty much makes it worse on top of the casual players experience let’s be honest most casual players do not play stage. most you wanna go back to the 2k because it was fun like why would you add so many different moves for damn near most of them to be useless or I need to have a pacific dribble style to move like I wanted. So the game is not fun the game heavily relies on micro transactions to play the game which is crazy most of the major events have cheaters in it which all they need to do is add anti-cheat but they punish the community with adding multiple jump shots because less than 20% the community was cheating that’s lazy but they care more about money than the experience of the players which is sad so yes 24 is a trash 2K because of those reasons

Im gonna address a couple things you said lol…so with movement and sigs and all that stuff…24 actually has wayyyyy less animations then previous 2ks lol…and when it comes to “fluent movement” if you don’t know how to dribble your gonna be movin like a bot lmao…it’s like that every year lol. The vc is outta hand but still it’s been overpriced for years sadly…and lastly, 2k doesn’t really implement an anti cheat system simply because it’s less than 1% of the community that uses zens and titans lol…i think they just didn’t want to waste time, effort, and money making an anti cheat when majority of players don’t experience cheaters lol…they definitely should make one for 25 but i wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t

@@GB32K Number one I know how to dribble but what I’m saying is most of the dribble moves that they added or not effective and there’s a lot of moves where you don’t get a speed boost out of. Number two cheating got so bad that they’re in game modes like rec, major events, Pro-Am or stage. The reason why they added multiple jumpshot timing in the game is because people were cheating back in 2K21 and 22 so at the end of the day 2K is not gonna fix none of this stuff because they don’t care about their community they care about the maximum profit if they can make money without trying hard to work on anything about the game they’re going to continue to do the same thing also The dribbling needs to be changed having a player to move effectively but not putting the defensive player at a disadvantage for example with a huge amount of the size of packages only a very small of packages are effective they need to make dribbling fun for a casual but for a competitive player allow them to have more variety with their Dribble moves

Bro you cannot say that if you play rec or park you got nothing to complain about then proceed to use some of the best dribblers as examples ain’t no body wanna have to dribble like stereo to not get the ball ripped every damm play and the fact that there’s Damm near guaranteed steal animations should tell you that dribbling takes a high about of skill to not get ripped and even at that you even had to say “limit” because no matter how good you play your going to get ripped it’s dumb as shit and defense is cheap as fuck compared to all other stats this game was the least enjoyable 2k for me but just because it wasn’t a wacky and broken as 18 I won’t say it’s the worst but it’s a close 2nd or 3rd

I used citkey and Steezo as examples of good dribblers…you do realize you can be a good dribbler without doing the stuff they do right? Most people on 2k can’t do a single combo…once again, I used those 2 as examples to show dribbling isn’t slow, bad, or shitty like most people think. Now steals….they are broken…that is a fact…but the game has been out for almost a year….if you still complain about something that is for the most part avoidable….it’s simply a skill issue. If you can’t get over that skill issue…keep crying
